Which shampoo is better Pantene Pro-V or Herbal Essence?

I've noticed some bald spots on my head recently. I use Pantene Pro-V regularly although I used herbal essence for a month and it didn't make any real difference. Which one is better?

Also could the fact that I eat alot of sweets have anything to do with my bald spots?Which shampoo is better Pantene Pro-V or Herbal Essence?
I have had several hair salonists tell me that Pantene is the worst shampoo you can use on your hair. One told me to try leaving a hair sample in pantene, and it would ';eat'; the hair. I use Pert PlusWhich shampoo is better Pantene Pro-V or Herbal Essence?
Your personal chemistry will determine which one is best. What works on one person is not what works on another.

Sweets are pretty much 99% NOT causing hair loss, nor is your shampoo. If you are losing it in patches/clumps, you should see a doctor. You probably actually need a medicated shampoo. Both of the ones in question here are decent, but cheap. If you have a skin condition, they aren't going to do anything for you. You may even need medication taken internally for a problem like this (sounds wierd, I know, but true).

Remember that cheap shampoos (pantene, pert, suave etc) are exactly that, they are cheap. They WORK, but they aren't gonna make mericles. They are all going to leave residue/buildup. See a professional who can reccomend a WEEKLY or BIWEEKLY clenser to strip the gunk shampoo and conditioner leaves behind. They are all full of chemicals and crap- you may even want to visit your local health food store and find a more natural alternitive. Your hair is a natural thing, and NEARLY EVERYONES reacts better to these products, though they can be more expencive. Again, everyone has different Ph levels, and so you need to test a product on yourself before you know what's going to work.
Pantene Pro-V does indeed cause buildup of oils in your hair. However, I can't exactly explain the dry spots. Herbal Essences on the other hand, dries out your hair, some people say it makes their hair feel like ';straw';. I reccommend Garnier Fruitis, because it moisturizes your hair and doesn't cause oily buildup.
I am a hair dresser ,and in my proffesional oppinion, neither pantene or herbal essence will help with your balding spots on your scalp. pantene has wax in it, so it causes buildup. and herbal essences can dry your hair out. talk to your hairstylist about a product called Nioxin. it helps with thinning hair and it works!
Don't use Pantene cause it coats your hair with this wax and makes it feel silky and smooth but it actually damages it.

Herbal Essence has sulfates which dry out your hair if you use it too much.

Your gonna have to use something for those bald spots.
Definitely pantene... herbal essence is very crappy...

Also, my mom started getting bald spots and at that time she was using herbal essence... I would go to a doctor though... stress can be a major reason as to why you are getting bald spots
Sweets are causing the bald spots. Use herbal esscences its so much nicer and leaves your hair smelling really nice. Pantene Pro-V is said to be crap..
Herbal essences is much more pleasant.
garnier fructis the is best.

however, bald spots have nothing to do with shampoo, see a doctor
HERBAL ESSENCES!

pantene causes buildup in your hair.
herbal essence
herbal essence is amazing makes your hair smell fab. but i use sunsilk
nether they both test on animals
pantene pro-v all the way the other makes your hair feel like straw!

  • Is Pantene Pro-V a good shampoo, or does it damage hair?

I've heard many things about Pantene Pro-V. Many say it's a great shampoo, while others say that it's great for a while but it damages your hair. Please give your opinion and your hair type.Is Pantene Pro-V a good shampoo, or does it damage hair?
it's a great shampoo :) i don't use it long-term though, i alternate a lot. but the times when i do use pantene pro-v i really love it! makes my hair soft %26amp; straight. i'm asian and have thick hair. if you've never tried it i highly recommend it :)Is Pantene Pro-V a good shampoo, or does it damage hair?
ive used it before. it works well. especially with all their different product lines. However i do not know whether or not it damages after a while cause i didn't use it for a long time. I switch product lines every time i need a new bottle. i find this is healthier.

my hair has loose curls and is easy to manage.
its does not damage the hair but it does coat it with harsh waxes on the cuticle of the hair which gives it the appearance of shiny healthy hair but really its not.. in the long run it will make your hair feel coarse and rough because of the wax coating which sux!
the difference between pantene and other shampoos is that it coats your hair. it never fully rinses out. its fine to use, but make sure you switch shampoos regularly regardless of the brand to get rid of build up.
Pantene f-cked my hair up so bad! I swear that's the worst line of products I've ever used. I have really thick hair too and it left it dry and damaged it.
    -_- no shampoo damages hair.

if yur usin it without conditioner

    MAYBE yu needa buy both?

thats kinda why they make the conitioner(:
    I have fine hair, long.

I hated Pantene products...actually made my hair fall out.
I heard its the most damaging shampoo on the market.
    I think you're a little too cautious.
i have curly hair and its long.

i think its pretty good, keeps your hair healthy and smells good :)
it seems to work fine on me !

Does Pantene Hair Shampoo Make Your Hair Fall Out?

OMG OMG does it make your hair fall out i use that shampoo for my dry hair!!!!!!Does Pantene Hair Shampoo Make Your Hair Fall Out?
I don't think it does ,but Gariner is very good!!!! Also try ausse shampoo and conditionor it is great!!!Does Pantene Hair Shampoo Make Your Hair Fall Out?
no, i've used it all my life. if i were you just use the one you used as a child, your hair is used to that
Not mine... or it didn't use too.
its did make mine fall some out don't use it
I've never heard that or experienced that, but I do know they put a lot of wax in their products and that's not good 'cause instead of actually fixing your hair to make it shiney, it's only coating it with wax to make it look good. I've stopped using it.
Conditioners are actually designed to restore and straighten your hair.

It is possible that you could have a reaction to the conditioner that would cause hair loss, but this instance is unheard of.

No, hair conditioners wont make your hair fall out.
I dont know about pantene making your hair fall out but i am dead sure that it makes curls drop severely.. I used to use it many moons ago...

Garnier is pretty good.. an even better shampoo is Delorenzo, they are really excellent.
    YES!

i used to use Pantene and my hairstylist said not to use it b/c it makes your hair fall out and it is really bad for people who swim alot.
Not sure if the shampoo is the reason for your hair fall but you can strengthen your hair. Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Does Pantene Pro-v shampoo and conditioner work?

Does it really make your hair silky smooth and shiny and soft? I have really fine hair but I have a lot if it, so I'm not sure if it will work for me.Does Pantene Pro-v shampoo and conditioner work?
My hairdresser tells everyone NOT to use Pantene - she seems to hate it! But I have used it (I have lots of fine hair too) and I think it's fantastic. (I think my hairdresser just wants to sell HER expensive shampoo to everyone). Does Pantene Pro-v shampoo and conditioner work?
    to answer your question

    pantene is amazing.

but with fine hair you never want to

over do it with the conditioner cause it will

    become greasy
yes but dont use too much of the conditioner it will make your hair greasy. use a quarter size. thats what i do %26amp; i lovee my hairr (:
i love it, its amazing! try it, if you dont like it maybe change the type of shampoo or just stick with others.
I use Tre Semme. And it works awesome. Everyone's hair is different, doesn't hurt to try it though...
it works but make sure u dont put conditioner at your roots cuz that'll weigh your hair down.
    yes

Pantene shampoo and conditioner-good or bad?

    is pantene good or bad?

some say its great and healthy and some people say that it has floor wax in it and it ruins your hair with alcohol

    do you know?

have you ever used it?Pantene shampoo and conditioner-good or bad?
Honestly... It does work... But u dont get full results... BUT I MUST ADMIT IT DOES WORK... but John Freida DEFENTLY WORKS... even in first use... they have products for all types of hair... I STRONGLY RECOMEND JOHN FREIDA... its only like $10.00 each... in canadian money..

Hope i helped... (= Bye ByePantene shampoo and conditioner-good or bad?
pantene worked so good on my hair. it made it soft and it stoped the breakage. i used the relaxed and natural for women of color.
    I dont like Pantene.

    Go for treseme.

Pantene made my hair feel like rough sometimes, or either like I still had pounds of conditioner in it.
I've used it and I don't like it. It leaves my hair greasy and feeling unhealthy. I like Aussie shampoos much better.

    Hope this helps!
me like it and dont use dove because they test on animals

Does pantene beautiful lengths shampoo really make your hair grow longer faster?

Yes, I've used it since the second day its come out and by making your hair stronger and protect against breakage it helps grow it out. Im a male and my hair is dry and short but since I've used it my hair has grown rapidly and is soft and moisturized.Does pantene beautiful lengths shampoo really make your hair grow longer faster?
It helps prevent breakage and split ends (which make your hair shorter) so in the long run it will help your hair grow faster. But im not sure about using the Mane and Tame Stuff or whatever its called (the horse shampoo) because i have heard stories that it actually damages hair...but idkDoes pantene beautiful lengths shampoo really make your hair grow longer faster?
No, not at all. Try Mane %26amp; Tale products (at walmart, walgreens etc). This product was originally made for horses, but safe for human hair. People swear by this stuff.
no it protects it from breaking and getting damaged with split ends

    %26amp;

    Moisture Balance Shampoo And Conditioner.

Thanks in Advance (:Does pantene nature fusion shampoo work ?
Pantene, Herbal Essence %26amp; Garnier are silicone products. They make you hair nice at first but as the silicone builds up it locks out moisture your hair weakens %26amp; breaks. Use pro products they last longer because you use less so the extra expense is worth it. The shampoos don't contain a detergent lathering agent so it's weird at first because you are used to lather. Great specialty products are, Joico K-Pak Reconstructor also Silk Results, Rusk has New Pro Elements Keratin. Big Sexy has good general products. Take Biotin %26amp; Vitamin E check it out on WebMD %26amp; Google.Does pantene nature fusion shampoo work ?
Hair is dead tissue, just like fingernails.

    Nothing can make hair healthier.

I once worked with a leading European hair stylist who gave me the inside information: the biggest difference between hair shampoos and conditioners is the price.

All the advertising claims about fruit essence, oils and secret ingredients is just crap.

Save your money and buy the cheapest. It will be 99.99% the same as something you pay many times more for without the expensive packaging and huge advertising budget.

    Tell your friends.

    Which Pantene shampoo was it?

In the commercial, the girl showed the ends of her hair before she used Pantene, and it was sticking out everywhere. And then she showed the ends of her hair, using Pantene and it was mosturised, shiny, and flexible (like she straightened it.)

And would you recommend that Pantene shampoo?Which Pantene shampoo was it?
Pantene is AWFUL shampoo. My husband's mother is a former stylist and doesn't recomment it. Apparently it makes your hair look the way it does because it coats it with a thin waxy layer but because of this it throws of the PH balance of your hair and causes damage and dryness.

    : (

I used to use it in high school and I would always gets gobs of hair coming out. Turns out the shampoo was giving me bald spots and the cause of it falling out! As soon as I stopped it got better.

I recomment a natural shampoo for a natural foods store such as Whole Foods or Vitamin Cottage. Also, Mane and Tail horse shampoo is GREAT for your hair and is supposed to help it grow fast. Hope I helped! : )Which Pantene shampoo was it?
Sorry to burst your bubble but companies use any technique they can, notice they didn't show her whole head haha just the end of ';her hair'; which I can assure you, was not real. If I'm thinking of the right commercial- where they dip it in paint?

Trust me, Pantene will not fix your hair like that. It contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate and just a bunch of horrible chemicals just like every other cheap shampoo. Burts Bees is paraben, SLS free, and made with all natural ingredients!
YES!! i used ice shine for a long time and i always got compliments on my shiny hair,

but now i use pantene pro v, since it smooths my hair and makes it shiny + more
Oh my god. Pantene does that after a wash? What a miracle? It was the strengthening one. I recommend Paul Mitchell. Definitely way better than Pantene.
I always use Pantene and yes I would recommend it. I think you might be talking about Pantene Ice Shine with the blue label.
    Pantene Pro-V? Definitely recommend it.

What's a good shampoo besides pantene. thats good for african american hair. and that u could buy at walmart?

frizz ease productsWhat's a good shampoo besides pantene. thats good for african american hair. and that u could buy at walmart?
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells absolutely awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, and select Walgreens, Wal-Mart, CVS, etc. You'll love it!!!

.What's a good shampoo besides pantene. thats good for african american hair. and that u could buy at walmart?
Personally, I don't like Pantene at all. I am white, so I don't know what would really work for people of colour, but I do know that ThermaSilk works wonders. I really like it. And I've used Dove, as well.

Now, what I find works better than anything is just any old shampoo, and a deep conditioning using heated olive oil once a week. Put it on dry hair, wrap it with saran wrap, put a heated towel on it, leave it for a couple of hours. Shampoo twice, don't condition, blow dry and voila! Gorgeous, silky soft hair. Olive oil. . .wonderful stuff.
citra shine is good otherwise i use the horse and main shampoo on my daughters hair. She's mixed. Anythings better then pantene. The ingredients in it are accually harmful to your hair and there preaty much the same ingredients as carpet cleaner. My brother worked for kirby vacuum sales and they recommend if you runout of carpet shampoo you can subsitute pantene for it. The only difference is it has more perfum.
    Dr. Miracle
Pantene Pro-V for Women of Color. I use it sometimes and I really liked it. Or Dove.
    herbal essences
well i'm african american and i use creme of nature. and i get mine from walmart. it really helps our kind of hair cuz now mine is long and bouncy!!!!!!!
well i find it better to condition wash. but i suppose any apart from the 2 in 1 shampoo and condit as these are drying. so long as you dont aver shampoo and under condition there should npt be a problem. maybe try tresseme
I have heard the Garnier Fructis is good (i have never used it myself, s im not 100% sure) but i know they sell it @ walmart. i have smelled it b4 and it smells yummy, so thats another plus lol. =]

Pantene Always Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner?

I am going on vacation in a couple days and I use Paul Mitchel shampoo. I bought Pantene for the trip because I am staying a week and four days and Paul Mitchel is kinda pricey so I just decided to use Pantene Always Smooth. Is it a good shampoo?Pantene Always Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner?
it actually depends all on ur scalp because on my hair i have build up and its really gross when i use it but when my sister uses it or my mom it works on them it all depends on the condition of ur scalp so yeah lol hope i helpedPantene Always Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner?
the girl who does my hair says it is the worst because it leaves alot of build up for some reason. ive used it before she told me that and i didnt have a problem
Yes it's good I use the sheer voulme set alot of people say ohh it's bad for your hair and it doesnt work it just didnt work for them try it out
    its great.

Has anyone tried the new pantene beautiful lengths shampoo&conditioner??

did you like it?Has anyone tried the new pantene beautiful lengths shampoo%26amp;conditioner??
Don't do pantene. It's made of wax. It coats your hair and tricks the eye into thinking your hair is shinier and healthier. After a while the wax dulls your hair.Has anyone tried the new pantene beautiful lengths shampoo%26amp;conditioner??
I really like it. Its makes my hair so soft.

Have you tried that new Pantene shampoo in a pick bottle, for long hair?

Does it work well?Have you tried that new Pantene shampoo in a pick bottle, for long hair?
i havent but i have always been told by friends and my hairdresser never to use pantene as its bad for your hair, the only reason your hair is left really shiney is because it coats your hair with a greese, try something else if you canHave you tried that new Pantene shampoo in a pick bottle, for long hair?

yes it does! i used it and it doesnt get gresy. i love panteen it leaves a clean feeling and its the best i have used so far. and i have a lot of hair too. hope this helps you
    i think it will

    it worked on my cousin
All and any drug store product you use on your hair will coat and further wreck your hair.

If you ever do find a un-professional product that does take that away.

that will also mean it is striping your hair from all its natural oils.

i'd recommend washing youre hair every other day and use a professional clairifying shampoo.

unless its colored then use a color stay shampoo, which will also have the same benifits for your hair.

Is it bad for dogs to be bathed with pantene shampoo?

i have no clue what to do i have no dog shampoo.

p.s-pantene is human shampoo..Is it bad for dogs to be bathed with pantene shampoo?
try baby shampoo johnsons so your dog wont tear from shampoo in eyesIs it bad for dogs to be bathed with pantene shampoo?
Yes, generally speaking, human shampoos and hair care products will dry a dogs skin and fur out. Their oils and such are different than ours. Your local pet store or vet should be able to recommend the correct shampoo, some are even breed or coat type specific.

It can work in a pinch or emergency but prolonged use will cause skin problems along with several trips and payments to the vet. Bottle for bottle pet shampoo may be more expensive than the human kind but we buy several bottles in the same amount of time that 1 of theirs last.

Stay away from the generic, mass marketed ones at your local department store. Go to a pet store and plunk down the $10, $15 or more and get a good shampoo. It's well worth it.
its bad for the dogs to not get any baths at all

If you have no dog shampoo, make a very very diluted version of this human shampoo. (just enough to bubble) and use that.

Human shampoo has a lot of detergent and it will dry out the dogs hair.

Sometimes children will bathe their animals themselves and not know this.

The dogs hair just gets frizzes stand out and they look horrible.

The only way to fix this is to give them a conditioner only bath.

So maybe you can do that. Just use conditioners, no human shampoo.
It should be fine as long as you rinse the dog thoroughly. My cousin used to show dogs, and a lot of the show people would use Silkience shampoo on their dogs, and Queen Helene conditioner. I have bathed many dogs with human shampoo and it has never bothered any of them. Like I said, just rinse, rinse, rinse.
Yeah it's okay but if you bathe him in that regularly he can get sick. There are dog shampoos in pet stores specialized for dog's coat. I use Tropiclean on my pomeranian and it makes him smell really good plus it's shampoo+conditioner for only eleven bucks.
dont use human shampoo. wait till you can get the dog/puppy shampoo or borrow some baby shampoo from a neighbour.

Don't even use it once, it will dry your dogs fur and skin and cause it to become sore, and have an allergic reaction.
Not REALLY bad, but they can get itchy skin, and they definitely shed more. Ooooh, do they shed more. If you don't have any dog shampoo right now, it's okay to bathe them once with people shampoo. Just don't make a habit of it.
No, i bathe my dog witjh human shampoo too, what u need tp do is to put cotton on his ears so he doesnt get shampoo inside his ears. Be careful with his eyes and mouth. You should try to bath him with a baby shampoo.. its better
maybe because dogs have different hair structure.

some dogs maybe get irritated when human shampoo is applied in their skin.

in the first place why should you use a human shampoo where in fact dogs have their own brand of shampoo.
You should never use human shampoo on any animal. You should use a product made specifically for dogs. If you want the best results, talk to your vetrinarian about the best shampoo for your dog.
Yes...don't was Fido with Pantene. It will strip all the natural/protective oils off her/his skin and irritate. Use something with oatmeal and conditioner instead. Oh, and make sure it doggy shampoo.
Yes my kitty kat experienced this she lost a lot of hair on here tail area because i used human shampoo on her

and she would scratch and i noticed her skin looked irritated but i started using dog shampoo and she healed right up
its not bad but its not good ether its most better to use pet shampoo but if u think about it most products are tested on animals... :( but ya
Lol, aww, I feel sorry for you doggie (^.^). Uhm...I really think it is bad for doggies. Although it might not show what effect it has on them, I still think that's not a good idea.
it should be fine just this one time. just don't do it again. you can even get dog shampoo from the dollar store
Yes - the chemicals from human to dog shampoo are different and can greatly irritate their skin

usually a baby shampoo (tearless) is fine..
go out and buy dog shampoo.....why do you have a dog if you do not have the materials to care for it?
    Yes

If you have no clue and your dog NEEDS a bath before you can go buy dog shampoo then just use warm water.
I dont think so..but you should get more 411

bout it ..just to make sure so nothing bad happens to yewr dog or who evers
No not bad for the animal...human hair...well different story but..it should work until u get some
    no i don't think it's advisable. lol

he'll start saying ';don't hate me because I'm beeootiful' in a brritish accent, haha...
A dog trainer I know. Only uses that and the conditioner on her service dogs.
I wouldnt bathe them at all.... if you bathe them they will get more smelly eventually. I never bathed my dog in its entire life and it never smelled... (only when it died lol)
Your dog should be bathed in pet shampoo, not Pantene.
if it says that they didn't test it on animals, that doesn't mean you should.
I don't think it would matter. It might dry their skin out a bit, but that's all. It's won't kill them or anything.
they just need their natural oils mainly for their skin, so too much soap is bad too often
...its not bad, just a waste of perfectly good shampoo. haha.
yes it is.... Thats for HUMANS why dont you go to the store and buy DOG shampoo...
well, it can't be good, but IDK!
Ummm.... If u dont have any dog shampoo, BUY SUM!!!!

It probly shoodnt matter, but if u luv ur pet, dont risk it.

    Pantene shampoo ???

does anyone else hate pantene shampoo

it make my hair look really bad..

and my moms a hairdresser and she says its the worst shampoo.

    what do u think???Pantene shampoo ???
With shampoo and conditioner, I realized that it works differently for other people. I don't purchase shampoos and conditioners from drug stores because they are kind of a replica of the real thing. If you purchase pantene, make sure its from a salon because it is different from when you are purchasing it at the drug store.Pantene shampoo ???
It really didn't make a difference with my hair but i have heard that it coats your hair in wax or something lol.
I luv pantene shampoo, however never stick to one shampoo u should switch occassionly...
That's cause Pantene is the wrost shampoo and conditioenr

i love there styling products i use the sheer voulme voulme hairspray and im want to get the texture spray wax
I use it sometimes and it doesn't really do anything to my hair, but my mom's hairdresser friend also said that it's a horrible shampoo because of the wax.
i use it all the time.. i never thought it did anything to my hair.
    i looove pantene

    it makes my hair soft.

    Pantene Shampoo?

I have straight silky hair and i wanted to know if pantene shampoos actually works..?? Is it good to use?

I like pantene cuz it makes my hair really soft but my hair gets so oily after a couple of days....

I was thinking about using those fruity scent Herbal Essence not sure if thats good.

What shampoos would you recommend??Pantene Shampoo?
Don't use pantene. It leaves a heavy silicone buildup on your hair that can actually cause your hair to fall out (by contributing to making your hair shaft brittle and dried out so it cant support the length of your hair). The shampoo is full of detergent, and the conditioner is full of silicones to make your hair look shiny outside- when its slowly drying out inside.

The best shampoos and conditioners are going to be at salons. It is really worth it to go to Ulta for example and spend $25 on a shampoo/conditioner bundle of a name brand product like Biolage.

If you cant afford that, the best drugstore brand I've found is Neutrogena.Pantene Shampoo?
no! dont use the herbal essence it makes ur hair fall out and it doesnt make your hair feel good at all. pantene is pretty good if you looking for a cheaper product that works good try suave moisturizing shanpoo in the orange bottle its just as good as matrix which is expensive or try dove moisturizing shampoo
Don't use pantene or herbal essence. Both of those have sulfates in them which are horrible for your hair. I would recommend Jason's natural jojoba shampoo. It makes my hair so soft!
i have basically tried all of the pantene shampoos and none of them worked good enough for me. i used to have really oily hair until i started to straighten it ALL the time and then my hair became VERY VERY dry. i tryed the pantene restoratives and that didnt work AT ALL so i started to use Aussie cool moisture shampoo and conditioner and it is the best shampoo and conditioner i have EVER used.it makes my hair so nice and silky!! i hope this helps!!
i've got oily, slightly wavy hair, and I use use pantene smooth n' silky shampoo I got it in a gigantic bottle at costco and it makes my hair really silky and frizz free.
well some people say pantne shampoos and conditions are bad and i too think so myself I'm black as you can see lol and i have relaxed hair and i rand out of my normal shampoo i what was under the sink was the pantne for women of color relaxed and natural and it said it was to moisturize the hair it dyed it out even more :( so bottom line yea... panten shampoo %26amp; condtioiors suck but they have really good stylig products

    Pantene shampoo?

I have heard that it is great, and I have also heard that it is damaging to your hair. Which one is it? I`m so confused.Pantene shampoo?
I began using Pantene hair products many years ago. I used Nexxus %26amp; other products but I always came back to Pantene. I moved south not too long ago %26amp; went to a hair salon to get my hair cut %26amp; styled. I didn't tell the stylist what hair products I was using. I asked her if she thought my hair was good condition. She said it was in great shape, so soft %26amp; shiny. She said it was obvious that I wasn't using Pantene. I let her go on %26amp; on %26amp; then I looked her straight in the eyes %26amp; told her that I had been using Pantene for years %26amp; that as a hair stylist, I had tryed many products such as what her salon was selling/using %26amp; for my personal use, I loved Pantene. She stood there with her mouth open. Don't listen to what others say about Pantene until you have used them for a while. I'm sick of these ';bathroom beautician'; who have no idea what they're talking about. There are many types of Pantene shampoos for all kinds of hair. I use the Pantene shampoo/conditioner all in one. I love it %26amp; my hair is in great shape, even with color on it. I love the detangler that has conditioner in it. You spray it in/leave it in %26amp; using a large toothed comb, you comb it through to the end. The salon I work in uses Nexxus %26amp; my clients love it but for me, I stick with Pantene.Pantene shampoo?
Use any pantene they are all amazing!!!

tresemme are also brill but whatever you choose follow this:

Wet your hair in 36.7 degree water

Use 5ml shampoo for short hair, 8ml for medium or 10ml for long hair.

Lather for 28 seconds, rubbing 20 times

    rinse for 22 seconds

    REPEAT

Use 2ml condtioner for short hair 4ml for medium, 6ml for long.

    Apply with wide-toothed comb

Leave to sink in for 57.1 seconds

    rinse, rinse, rinse,

    Pat hair dry

    Leave to drip-dry

    YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD
when i used Pantene, it made my hair all frizzy and uncontrollable, it did make it shine though. I still wouldn't recommend it
its really good and it helps your hair

but im not sure if this is a proven fact: but i heard that it has stuff in it thats not good for you, my friend told me that an expierment was done where they put the shampoo on rats, and the rats died.. but if it was really THAT bad for you it would have bee recalled a long time ago.. there are millions of people that have been using it every day for years, and there hasnt been any reported problems
depends on which one you buy, and what you want

i have curly hair and bought the straight and smooth one

didn't help with the curls (obviously) or shine at all, but it made my hair feel soft without needing conditioner
    it worked on my hair

but i only used it for a couple of days
i use pantene and all i have heard was it was great for your hair it works wonders on mine.but i guess i am going to srop using it if the stories on here i am reading are true i can go to nexus or something else.thanks for the info.
Pantene shampoo, uses oil to make your hair feel soft and smooth, but it is actually creating a build up of slug on your hair and scalp. By the end of the bottle your hair will feel heavy and oily.

  • Pantene Shampoo?

My hair tend to break a lot when im combing so ive bought the Anti-breakage Shampoo. Just wanted to know whether it really stops the hair from breaking and how long does it take e.g. 2 washesPantene Shampoo?
If your hair is truly breaking at the ends (or you have split-ends) it might be time for a trim. No shampoo is going to magically fuse together those broken pieces, even though they claim to, its a total fabrication to make you buy the product.

Your best bet for beautiful hair without breakage is to get it trimmed at least once every 6-8 weeks (depending on length of hair). In between trims, make sure to shampoo %26amp; condition.

I also had to do a research paper on 'bad' drugstore shampoos in school and Pantene was the number one worst that you can use b/c of the pH balences in them!!! So, if you must, try and choose something else.Pantene Shampoo?
Are you sure it is breaking? Look at the strands that come out- if the bulb it there (a little spot at the end of the hair) then it's not breakage. The best thing for breakage is deep conditioners. Hair masques and leave in conditioners are awesome for the problem.
I haven't personally tried the Pantene brand, but sister has been using it for the past 4 years and loves it. She uses the sleek %26amp; shine kind and it really has made here hair a lot sleeker and shinier. It probably took about 10 washes to see a difference.

I am sure that if you try the anti-breakage it will work just as well.
the garnier fructise breakage system i think works better but it depends on what kind of hair you have.
Pantene always makes my hair greasy. Try something from Sally's and if you don't have that store around your location, defiantly try Tresemme, Sunsilk, Ion, and L'Oreal...

You can also look online at Sally's.

hi! not sure about pantene but maybe your problem is that youve got split ends from not protecting your hair from the sun, heat/ straightners? or youve bleached or coloured your hair to much, i work with hairdressers as im a beauty therapist and the best advice theyve ever given me is to go get a haircut regulary and also to make sure you buy a really good quality shampoo and conditioner and even hair balms! go to your local salon and ask about your hair type and tips and then purchase some good products. always buy your haircare from salons, the best ive come across is l`anza, alterna and tigi! its expensive but its an Investment, they work and last ages! trust me:)

What is the best kind of shampoo and conditioner to use besides pantene?

i dont use pantene so anything other than that and my hair is on the thinner side and its long. i want something that smells really good and works good to.What is the best kind of shampoo and conditioner to use besides pantene?
tigi products are the best!!! they smell good %26amp; leave your hair soft %26amp; shiny!!!What is the best kind of shampoo and conditioner to use besides pantene?
    tresemme moisture rich solution
    herbal essences smells SO good.

dove is good for your hair.
Atomik recommended tigi, and so do I! Tigi's Catwalk Oatmeal %26amp; Honey is superb!!! My hair easily dries out from the tanning salon and chemical hair processes, but you'd never know it since I've switched to this product line.

The best thing you can do is get a great shampoo %26amp; conditioner, like Oatmeal %26amp; Honey. When you are conditioning, run a wide toothed comb through your hair. Your hair will thank you!
aveda and redken aveda u can be a plant lover or just want to keep ur hair healthy and for redken it helps u way more for uv protection smooth down just to be soft there are way more choices in redken then pantene trust me aveda and redken work the best out of all product take it from me my mom is a hairdresser
Tressume has a good line of products,I would suggest them
Sunsilk, Herbal essences. it actually all depends on the kind of hair u have.
Alterna is a wonderful product. My hair is thin also, this is a great product.. a little expensive, but worth it if you can afford it.
Dove shampoos and conditioners, they are the best!
Matrix...they have a line for volumizing thin hair...or if you dont want to spend salon prices try the new Sun Silk products
    biolage. trust me.
Herbal Essense is what I use. There are a whole bunch of kinds to use though. If you have colored hair there's a color-protection one. i use the volumizing one. Good luck!
    Go with Dove.
    Aussie will add volume.
I like Aussie...their products smell great! Seriously though you should get about 3 to 4 different brands, and switch them out about once a week. Also get a clarifying shampoo and use about 1 - 2 times a month. The more products you switch between, the better your hair will react. It keeps your hair fresh, and keeps it from getting dulled down.
Rusk, Paul Mitchell, Sammy, or Redken.

    Expensive, but it works!

Look on Ebay to find bigger amounts of it for cheaper!
I use Suave Fresh Berry Smoothie. It makes my hair soft and delicious-smelling. Plus, it's affordable and it doesnt make my hair fall.
brilliant brunette, all of the John Frieda line. its amazing, i love it. everyone i've told about it, has absolutely loved it.
There is three really good shampoos that I know of Head and Shoulders,Herbal Essents, and Sunsilk.
    Nexxus shampoo and humectress conditioner.
I liek John Frieda. If your hair is brown, get brilliant brunette (that's what I use).. he also has shampoos for blondes and redheads. He has several different varieties- volumizing, light reflecting, etc AND they all bring out your natural color and add slight natural highlights (barely noticeable)

I use John Frieda for all haircare products- his stuff is great! You can get it at Walgreens or Wal-Mart or any drug store- good luck!!
I have the same type or hair and I use Dove. I love it.. it adds moisture. I used Pantene for a while but it make my hair real staticy. Hope this helps!
I have thin and long hair too. I use Herbal Essence (its works and smells great and its not expensive) Althought sometimes I use John Freeda for a bit of a treat (although its more expensive)

Which pantene shampoo/conditioner would you recommend and why? also, is pantene better than loreal vive b/c i ?

love loreal vive!Which pantene shampoo/conditioner would you recommend and why? also, is pantene better than loreal vive b/c i ?
    My hair stylist

she said that pantene is the WORST shampoo/conditioner u can ever buy.

    she said ';buy watever else shampoo, just PLEASE do not buy that crap';

its leave terrible residue on your hair and damages it she says.Which pantene shampoo/conditioner would you recommend and why? also, is pantene better than loreal vive b/c i ?
im using Pantene brunette expressions (i do recomend the Expressions line for the color of your hair).

I love Loreal Glossy Volume %26amp; the Hydrating one w/royal jelly

I would say Loreal Vive is the BEST

Does pantene super straight shampoo work?

i have annoying wavy hair and i straighten it almost every day so the ends are gross and damaged and i hate my hair curly. i NEED some sort of straightening thing that wont damage my hair. anybody have any advice?Does pantene super straight shampoo work?
I have it and i have wavy hair

it helps a little but if you straighten it

it will be better.Does pantene super straight shampoo work?
No, It doesn't work. Shampoo's or hair products CAN'T change your hair.

And Pantene is the worst product to put on your hair. It will eventually weigh your hair done with wax, which it's LOADED with.
it doesnt automatically make ur hair straight, but it helps in styling it. use a flat iron.

Is it okay to use like pantene or other types of shampoo on a dog?

i ran out of pet shampoo for my maltese, is it okay to use regular shampoo? Is it okay to use like pantene or other types of shampoo on a dog?
I use Pantene and Fructis on my dogs. No harm at all. Just rinse well.

I've used mostly human or horse products on my dogs, for the past 40 years as a professional in the dog world, and before

that as a kid. I never have seen negative results in over 350 dogs.

Just rinse the coat well..as you should with any shampoo.

    Added:

Dawn is good for emergencies, such as a dog getting into something oily. But it strips the skin oils a bit too well. When I had to use it to get rid of motor oil on my dogs, they got dandruff from dry skin.

    From Dr Mike%26gt;(quoted)

I saw a study once, which was a review of the ingredients of various pet and people shampoos,

as well as a test of factors like pH and eye irritation. In the study, the

authors could find no significant differences between pet shampoos and

people shampoos. So I tell my clients to use whatever they like, or have on

    hand.

I am sure that some shampoos work better on any particular dog than others

but that the brands that work well for that one dog may not be the best for

    another dog.

I think that this information is probably also true for conditioners but

have not seen any reviews of the various conditioners to prove or disprove

    that.

When medicated shampoos are indicated there is some variation between the

availability of some ingredients between pet shampoos and people shampoos

so it is important to follow your vet's recommendations if a medicated

    shampoo is called for.

    Mike Richards, DVM

    3/28/2005

( but then, these thumbsdowners know so much more than Dr. Richards)Is it okay to use like pantene or other types of shampoo on a dog?
It is surely ';possible'; and can be used IF a ';dog brand'; shampoo is unavailable. BUT.... on a ';regular basis'; I'd NOT RECOMMEND IT%26gt; Additionally............

Human shampoo is too drying for use on a dog. Use only shampoo formulated for dogs. Many human shampoos also contain chemicals that are very irritating to a dog's skin. Many dogs break out in rashes, itching, or dandruff if human shampoo is used on them. It should only be used in an emergency.

Why do dogs need their own kind of shampoo? Manufacturers say their products are gentle enough to prevent the natural oils in a dog's coat from being stripped, but strong enough to get out the dirt. Note: Dogs skin is much different and dryer from human skin which contains more oils.
Your better off using water because pantene pro v and alot of shampoo and conditioners have silicon in them to make hair smoother where there is damage and it sticks to the hair, so even if you rinse the silicon stays in the hair--or fur :S .. so if your dog is licking himself he will be licking all the products that stays stuck to the fur aswell.. which im sure will make him sick.. =( .. soo dont
Yes, in fact I had a handler who loved using pantene conditioner for silky hair on long soft coats. Unless you are seeing flaking etc. using a stronger human shampoo will be fine. Many really dirty dogs get washed in dish detergents prior to a shampoo before a show to get more dirt out.
Pantene has a high wax content in it. That's what gives your hair that sleek, shiny look. I wouldn't suggest it for people or pets. As a substitute, I've been told that Dawn dish detergent is not only safe for your dog but can be used on puppies without health risks and it does kill fleas.
It's not a great idea. If the dog is a disaster area and can't wait until tomorrow when you can get pet shampoo just rinse her really good with lots of warm water. The dog won't get clean, but it will be cleaner and water obviously won't hurt the dog.

    Good luck!
Human shampoos/conditioners/soaps are harsh and dry out dog skin. Your dog can wait until you buy him/her some doggie shampoo/soap. You don't have to bathe a dog unless they: really smell, are visably dirty, have parasites (fleas/ticks), or it's been 2+ months.
no the only human shampoo you should use on a dog is baby and tear and perfume free shampoo.

other human brands can block the oil glands and cause skin allergies and infections.

i'm sure you're dog will be fine until you can get to the store tomorrow.
NO WAY should you use ANY human skin/hair products on your pet cat/dog, the Ph is wrong in most, and just not worth the risk. Vets, pet shops or even supermarkets have any number of products which wont do harm to your best friend.
No. I would not recommend any kind of human shampoo for dogs. Just go to the store and buy some more doggy shampoo, they only need to be bathed once a month, not every day/every other day like we do.
You should never use human shampoo on your dogs coat because there makeup is different than ours and it will dry out the fur. I don't like hartz either even though its made for dogs.
I would just wait until you can go to the pet store and get dog shampoo. Im sure the dog can wait 1 day for a bath
No, some kinds could make your dog sick, or cause skin problems. He'll be fine without a bath until you buy some more pet shampoo.
no dont use anything other dog soap.its bad for their skin maybe allergic.just go to the store and get more dog shampoo
No only use shampoo that is made for dogs.
    yes
Read the back of the bottle to see if the shampoo is animal tested.

If it say that it NOT , then just wait until you can buy some more ';doggy'; shampoo.

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

I have heard that pantene is not good for hair. What do you think?Do you have any experience with this shampoo? What about the Pantene conditioners?Does pantene makes hair grow healthy and stronger? Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?
try palmolive. Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?
For me I thought that Pantene Shampoo made my hair dry, brittle and it it not worth the money that it costs
I have tried just about every shampoo I can find to see if it is the best or works. I didn't care for pantene, but I highly reccomend AUSSIE shampoos and conditioners. They have several types out for different types of hair. You can go to AUSSIE.COM and take a little questionair and it will kick back exactly which ones are best for you. My hair is healthier since I started using it about a year ago . Hope this helps
I am sure it feels thicker and stronger, but it made my hair very 'moisturized' and limp...and that was just the shampoo. I didn't like it.
    i think thats not a bad choise but in my mine ';head and shoulder'; is a another good ones.. or you can try ';rejoice';
Pantene is a godd shampoo to buy over the counter at your local drugstore... but that doesn't mean that it is what is best for you. Pantene is known for giving the hair lots of shine, volume, and ';strenth';. While it will appear to have done that -- it's just an illussion. Pantene gets its' name from the key ingredient, which is ';panthenol'; or more commonly known as ';wax';. (Most shampoos have this ingredient) It will leave a light layer of wax on your hairshaft which over the course of time will slowly build up leaving the hair shiny and feeling thicker. You will be tricked into thinking that your hair must also be healthier because of this... but don't be fooled. This layer of wax is choking the hairshaft and will eventually cause the follicle to be clogged and the strand will fall out and until you unclog the follicle -- no new hair will take its place.

Your best advice if you choose to purchase Pantene is to switch it up with a good ';clarifying'; shampoo every few days. Beyond that -- spend the money at your local mall salon to get the good stuff. The cost comes from the fact that it is highly concentrated and uses better quailty ingredients. About $6 to $10 is a good price to pay and it should last you about 3 months if you use the correct amount. (Pea sized for short hair and nickel sized for long hair) Good luck!
    not mine
Yes...I love Pantene! It won't make your hair grow fast, but when it grows, it wll make very healthy. I have tried it one time with knotty, very oily, gross hair. Now it is beautiful! Please try it!

    : D Thanks
ya its good egg painteen is the best mean yellow , n its growth fast n also make the hair silky
pantene works great with my hair...it made my hair reall smooth n soft.....i guess u'll get best result if u can select which one is proper for ur hair type
Thanx Legacy -- I would have never known or guessed !!!!!
pantene uses animal fats to ';nourish'; hair but it will only coat hair with wax, making it limp and a lot more prone to breakage. you may see results at first, but don't be fooled in the long run your hair will be more damaged then when you started.
My hairdresser told me never to use Pantene, but she never gave me a reason. Probably because I never asked.
I wouldnt think so Nioxin is much better its used for thinning and to make hair stronger you can get it at the salon
ive heard that it coats the hair with a thin plastic substance! but dont know wethere to belive that or not!

  • Pantene Shampoo?

I have naturally brown hair, and a few months ago I used some kind of brown enhancing shampoo in europe and it gave my hair a lighter colour that was more noticeable, and i want to do that again so i bought Pantene Brunette Expressions. I used it yesterday and I didn't really notice a difference.. does this stuff work well? Will it lightene my hair at all or do something else? ThanksPantene Shampoo?
the pantene brunnette expressins does not make your hair lighter. it is used on regular brunnette hair to make it even, silky and shiny.

********best answer plzz [i need points]*********Pantene Shampoo?
Ok, shampoos do not have the chemicals in them to lighten or darken hair. They can have ingredients to help the colours you have stay viberant but they CANNOT lighten hair. I dont know what you used on your hair but i dont think it was a lightener!

Shampoos are very decieving as they say they will do something and they barely ever do! I would get some bleach highlights or maybe a tint in the shade lighter than your natural colour.
    PANTENE DOES ANIMAL TESTING!

Are pantene shampoo, lucozade drink and doritos in the boycott israel list?

Actually, people could not truly boycott Israel and still use technologies and equipment invented, developed and produced by Israelis.

The ';holy'; Presbyterian Church has warned four U.S. companies to stop providing military equipment and technology to Israel for use in the occupation of the Palestinian territories, or else face a vote by the Church to divest its stock in them.

A church investment committee that met in Seattle accused certain companies of selling helicopters, cellphones, night vision equipment as well as other items used by Israel in its ';forced occupation'; of Palestinian territory. In fact, by international law there is no occupation at all, forced or otherwise.

The accusations of the Presbyterian Church were dismissed as an “outrage” by a spokeswoman for Citigroup, a sentiment shared by several of the other corporations.

How about boycotting the evil church mentioned above?

I was wondering,is it?If so,can someone tell me the price of it (in euros),and how it helped their hair?I want to get it but don't want to waste my money if its crap.Is Pantene Beautiful Lenghts a good shampoo?
Oh, I tried this. It cost about 拢1.50, I'm not sure how much that is in euros to be honest. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend it at ALL! What's with all the good reviews? It's the worst shampoo I have ever used. Well, apart from Morrisons own make, that one was horrendous. =P But seriously, I don't recommend this at all. Pantene is one of the worst brands out there. It covers your hair in a type of wax that makes it feel soft but it's actually making it very dry. DO NOT BUY IT! Just trying to get my point across, the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner is an absolute pile of crap.Is Pantene Beautiful Lenghts a good shampoo?
just recently started using the pantene Pro V Beautiful Lengths shampoo. It really has helped my hair to grow, I believe. Everyone seems to comment on the length now and how am I getting it to grow. I had forgotten about using this shampoo and as I look into the mirrow I am amazed at how it really does look longer. The only down side to the shampoo is the fact that I did not buy a creame rinse with it and it seems to tangle my hair if I don't use some sort of conditioner.

Btw this is not from my personal experience it is from a website. a lady by the name of christmascarol on viewpoints.com

Has anyone tried new Pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner?

does it really help your hair grow?Has anyone tried new Pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner?
I just used the shampoo and conditioner last night, so i decided to do some more research on the product, and came across your post!! This might sound strange, but after just ONE use, my hair looked a bit longer today. ??? Very odd, as this has never happened before. I usually buy the more expensive shampoos from Goldwell. But the name of this one got my attention. Now, my hair is already long, but i am trying to grow it to waist-length. Well, normally my hair is about 2-3 inches ABOVE my waist-line. But as weird as this might sound, i could swear after looking in the mirror that it was just one inch above my waist today. I could even feel my hair brushing up against my back, where it wasn't before. I know that sounds crazy. I've never bought a product that claimed to ';grow'; your hair long, but like i said, this caught my eye. Now, i know that this shampoo and conditioner is being sold in order to tempt people to grow their hair long, and then cut and donate their hair to the beautiful lengths assoc., in order to make wigs for cancer patients. SO.....whether they include a secret ingredient, that instantly ';stretches'; the hairs, is beyond me. All i know is to tell about what it did for me. Unfortunately, i can't donate my hair, because it is bleached and against their rules. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend this product. It also made my hair very soft and silky, and i do have some slight damage due to the bleach. Also, the herbal essences shampoo that the other poster mentioned is HORRIBLE. Didn't do anything for my hair, and my hair was so dry and tangled that i couldn't get a comb through it. I do not recommend that brand. It took me a little over 2 years to grow my hair long, without bleaching, leaving my hair in a pony tail most of the time, only washing it once a week, and deep conditioning every time. It takes some patience, but with the right care and maintenance, it CAN happen. Good luck, and give Pantene a try! ;)Has anyone tried new Pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner?
Ok, so as a licensed hair stylist let me tell you no shampoo or conditioner is going to make your hair grow any quicker. Each and every hair follicle goes through different growing stages. Some follicles will be dormant and then others will be in a growth spurt. Most people's hair will grow anywhere from a quarter inch to half an inch in a months time. And by the way I would really rethink using any Pantene product, as they have an ingredient that will cause a heavy waxy buildup on the hair shaft. Hope this helps you out
herbal essance's long term relationship does. ive tried them both and that one was the better :]

Is it bad for your hair to use the pantene pro-v shampoo for blondes if you're a brunette?

or if it's not bad, what does it do? just make your hair lighter or something? Is it bad for your hair to use the pantene pro-v shampoo for blondes if you're a brunette?
it won't do anything, cheap shampoos like that don't actually tone/dye your hair, read the back, if it did it would say it in big letters because those dyes can cause some people allergic reactions. Is it bad for your hair to use the pantene pro-v shampoo for blondes if you're a brunette?
to be honest it won't make a difference, theres no bleach in it so it can't make your hair lighter
Its not going to make your hair lighter.

It will only enhance the hair color of accual blondes.
no, it won't make a difference it will just enhance the color for blondes

New pantene shampoo and conditioner - any good?

The new Anti-breakage shampoo Pantene have bought out sounds really good on the ad, but does it work??

    ========================================鈥?br>

Also i've heard a lot of different thing about pantene, can someone clear things up for me please??

Thnx much!! ^_^New pantene shampoo and conditioner - any good?
Whatever you've heard about Pantene is probably nothing more than an urban legend. For some reason these legends always involve the best selling brands, and as often as not they are started by business competitors, like how Mary Kay sales ladies often tell people that Avon and other inexpensive make-up is toxic. There's usually no truth to any of the rumour or they are stretching the truth and lying by omitting facts. The latest on is how pantene contains something that they use in car washes...and it's true. They use carnuba wax, it's a food ingredient that adds shine to skittles, M%26amp;M's, makes chewing gum less sticky it adds shine to cars and it adds shine to your hair. It's washes away with water, it's so non-toxic that it can be eaten, and it comes from plants. That's the kind of stories they tell, they make it sound bad, but it really isn't. And sometimes the tell lies based on old discredited information, stuff that science has shown to be false, and sometimes urban legends have no basis in reality at all.

I do like pantene shampoos and conditioners, however i find I have to occasionally use a deep-cleaning shampoo if I use products like shine spray or styling products. According to TotalBeaty.com the anti breakage products get high user scores, around 8-9.5 out of 10 Here's the page with reviews for all the Pantene Hair products http://www.totalbeauty.com/reviews/brand鈥?/a> These are all reviews from people who have tried and used the products and they are quite accurate and reliable.

If professional shampoo was as cheap as Pantene, would you use that or Pantene?

I believe that the expensive professional shampoos (various kinds) I've been using for the past few years have changed my hair from thin to thick. I don't know how long my mom tried the expensive stuff, but she thinks for some reason that her Pantene is better and makes her hair shinier. If professional shampoo was as cheap as Pantene, would you use that or Pantene?
Considering all Pantene does is coat the hair, I'd definitely use professional products. I don't know why everyone seems to love Pantene, it's really not too good.If professional shampoo was as cheap as Pantene, would you use that or Pantene?
I agree with the above person, I used Pantene religiously for 7 years never changed my shampoo loved it to much, recently I switched to the new L'oreal shampoo everpure and i can see the difference in my hair, it has pulled the wax off of my hair and its amazing how different my hair is it is so much healthier. So honestly I would have to say choosing one would be the professional but if the choice was between the professional or the L'oreal it would be L'oreal.
    Hi there anobody

Haircare is something that you can spend a great time [worrying] about but there are many creative ways to get the best hair fast and easy.

A while back I had similar question like yours . I got perfect solution by searching at below web sites.

Seems like the Perfect web site for all questions concerning Hair-

    http://xurl.jp/c4m

My hairdresser got this great web site for hair related matters:

    http://xrl.us/bef7rk
The Professional Stuff...But you know, The reason why her hair is 'shiny' and probley soft, Is because of Wax build up. Pantene coats your hair in wax. So it's not good for your hair. As it does give you build up, and eventually, Her hair is going to start looking and feeling not clean.
Pantene is infamous for being filled with waxes and things that are awful for hair. so i'd go with professional stuff.

pantene made my hair soo greasy. it made it look like it does after i don't wash it for 3 days.
Perhaps your hair has just naturally grown thicker although constant chemicals could also cause this

    People buy pantene cause it

    1. Is actually a good brand of shampoo/conditioner

    2. It smells really nice =D
Pantene leaves a wax build up on your hair. I use Dove shampoo and condintioner. And I love it. Leaves my hair soft, silky and shinny.
    use suave
id buy both and use watever one i see first

    Pantene shampoo and conditioner?

I have heard that Pantene shampoo and condition strips your hair. is that true? but i just read that it can take the floor wax off the floor. Is it really safe to use it on your head if it can do that to a floor thats walked on everyday?Pantene shampoo and conditioner?
It's safe, but drying to the hair and scalp. The shampoo contains harsh ammonium sulfates. Stick with a shampoo that's main cleansing ingredients are: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Myreth Sulfate, or even Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (though that one is rather harsh, too). Back to Basics, Nature's Therapy (found at Sally's), and even some Suave shampoos are good examples of gentle shampoos. Your shampoo does make a difference over time. Pantene appears to work so well because its conditioner contains lots of cones which coat the hair, giving it the appearance of healthy hair. Eventually, your hair will begin to look dry and weighed down. Trust me, I thought this all was a gimmick, too, but then I started using gentler shampoos and my hair has thanked me.Pantene shampoo and conditioner?
    LOL........THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!

i have been using pantene for years now, %26amp; it has been wonderful for my hair. i would recommend it to everyone. my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. =D
lol Not sure about that but long term use of pantene DOES actually damage your hair. pantene contains silicone, thats what they add to try shine your hair, Its the silicone not the shampoo that shines the hair.

To prevent damage from long term use you should use a shampoo like tea tree to remove the build up.
If Pantene strips your hair, it's news to me. People will say anything to get people to try their products. I've used Pantene for years %26amp; my hair is in the best shape it's ever been. To each his own. Don't knock it unless you've tryed it.
i dont kno if thats true but its bad 4 ur hair cuz it has wax in it and thats the only reason that it makes hair shiny and even tho ur will look healthy its not cuz thats just the wax build up ( =
I don't believe it about Pantene Shampoo. You must mean Coca Cola. It can %26lt;and does%26gt; dissolve bones. I'll have to try the shampoo on the floor, though, I'm always looking for better ways to wash the floor.
I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THAT BEFORE DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS RIGHT IT'S YOUR HEAD I'VE USED IT FOR ALONG TIME AND IT DOESN'T STRIP MY HAIR EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT KINDS OF HAIR SO DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO!!!!
those are just freakn rumors. i use pantene all the time it leaves ur hair soft, shiny and frizz prone!!!
My hairdresser told me this too, because it has alchohol in it or something. But, I still use it, it works for me and smells great. It can't be too bad or they wouldnt' sell so much of it! lol Good luck
i dont think its true, i used to use it, it worked really well.
just dont use it...........use dove, Vo5 or Herbel essences.
maybe it is true. but every shampoo and conditioner have some good and some bad points to your hair.
I believe that maybe you have been misled, or maybe it is I that has been, but I use this product daily and it has done nothing but make my hair stronger and shinier. I would say that someone has just plain out lied to you. Pantene products contain the vitamin B12 and Panthenol to help strengthen the hair follicle not destroy it.
I use it a lot! i haven't heard this before though it may be true! I like it, it gives my hair volume!! It doesn't strip my hair either ( what ever that mean)....Anyways hope i helped you out!!! Good Luck!

Ever out Pantene shampoo on a bratz dolls head?

i did it last night and i brushed it out and it made her hair nice and soft and it just makes you wanna sleep on it hair oh yeah can you blow dry a dolls head? just wondering no harsh commentsEver out Pantene shampoo on a bratz dolls head?
lol, ur funny.. well i guess you could blow dry hair on a bratz doll, just make sure you don't try to curl it with a curl iron or straightening it with a hot iron. if you do this, the hair will be burned, and will stick to you the straightener and curler.. ok have fun with your doll..Ever out Pantene shampoo on a bratz dolls head?
no, because your dolls hair beleive it or not is plasic and it would melt it
no a doll is a doll and it's not even real, natural hair especially bratz, so no i don't recommend that.

    Your choice though!
No but i can tell your a boy because girls would not do that and that is stropped

How is Arbonne shampoo different from Pantene or any others that I buy over the counter?

What's so special about Arbonne products in general? How is Arbonne shampoo different from Pantene or any others that I buy over the counter?
I love Arbonnes shampoo. All 5 of us use it in our family. It's the ingredients that make Arbonnes products so different. It doesn't lather or have that flower smell that so many shampoos do, but I can tell you I don't have build up, my hair is shinny and healthy.

http://www.gleamingskin.myarbonne.comHow is Arbonne shampoo different from Pantene or any others that I buy over the counter?
The Main difference is in the quality of ingredients

Pantene is very cheap and so expect cheap ingredients, chemically laden and in cosmetology terms about the same as washing your hair with laundry detergent.

This is from the Arbonne website

Is Pantene Pro v shampoo bad for men to use everyday? Is dove a better choice?

which is better to use everyday? Is Pantene Pro v shampoo bad for men to use everyday? Is dove a better choice?
Pantenes just a bad shampoo in general, it has ingredients like silicone, that build up making it feel healthy at first and wreck your hair in the end, dove would be the better choice, but in the price range of these shampoos none of them are really going to be anygood. Is Pantene Pro v shampoo bad for men to use everyday? Is dove a better choice?
I use Pantene everyday, so does my boyfriend

I love Dove soap/body wash but I hate their shampoos

If u have tried both which worked better 4 u?With past experience which is better pantene or dove shampoo?
Dove! and it's cheaper :) big plus! With past experience which is better pantene or dove shampoo?
umm neither is better!!!!!.....sunsilk is tha best shampoo and conditioner! pantene makes my hair poofey and dove makes it frizzy! So go SUNSILK!!!!! ;o)
None of them are the best because they are from drug stores and have ingredients in them that are not as good as salon shampoos. Ur hair will be great and look fabulous with any salon shampoo. hope i helped.
I've never tried Dove personally, but Pantene works really well with my hair. =)
Pantene. Its my favorite shampoo I've been using it for years.

It makes my hair soooooooo soft and nice :)
DOVE is better well at least i think so i used to use pantene and my hair would fall of alot try one for a few weeks and see wat happens and then try the other one for some other few weeks and then see which one worked out better
Pantene庐 BUT, only certain products ICE SHINE鈩?(Shampoo Only) Breakage Defense鈩?(Shampoo Only) Conditioning Spray (Original Formula) Thickening Spray. All the other products are just silicone laden junk.

helpfulgirlee: Check those ingredient labels on the salon products. - You will find that they use the SAME CHEAP INGREDIENTS as the drugstore brands and the 'Active' ingredients (Protiens, Vitamins, Ceramides, Lipids) are in the same microscopic amounts. - usually less than the amount of fragrance. And check the PARENT COMPANY of those products. MOST are owned by P %26amp; G (The TIDE Soap People) OR Cosmair (L'Oreal, Garnier) Or UniLever (The Other Big Soap Company. - Suave, Sunsilk, Dove) And charge obscene amounts of money for the same stuff thats on the drugstore shelves.

What the hell does Proctor and Gamble put in Pantene Pro-V Shampoo to make it smell so gross?

This is one of the richest if not the richest personal care products company on the planet. With their test laboratories this is what they came up with?? Ewww..What the hell does Proctor and Gamble put in Pantene Pro-V Shampoo to make it smell so gross?

Do indian people use Herbal essence shampoo, pantene, or garnier?

they use Gugo ShampooDo indian people use Herbal essence shampoo, pantene, or garnier?
No i think they make their own real herbal shampoos with natural ingredients. You'lll have to go to a reservation for that or ask an indian.

If i use red expressions pantene shampoo when my hair is brown will it make my hair have some red highlights?

i want my hair to look auburn but right now it is brown. my friend uses red expressions (she has red hair) and she says it brightens her hair and makes it more red. i would like to turn it auburn without actually dyeing my hair ..........

any tips ?? -- thanksIf i use red expressions pantene shampoo when my hair is brown will it make my hair have some red highlights?
Pantene Red Expressions is a shampoo that enhances your red hair color, whether it is your natural color or dyed. It will not color your hair.If i use red expressions pantene shampoo when my hair is brown will it make my hair have some red highlights?
it is not going to change it I have blonde highlights and used the brown expressions and nothing happened to my hair it was exactly the same
    no no and no she must be seeing things add a tiny bit of red/auburn foils extremely thin amount you will love it and besides red is the fast-es to fade %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;
I'm not sure how this is happening since it says right on the bottle No color depositing. Have you actually looked at her hair? I think your friend is seeing her hair perhaps a little shinier but there is no way it turns her hair red.
actually thee is no chemical process that takes place to give you 'red highlights' with just a shampoo, sorry.
I doubt it. The expressions line is just used to prevent fading of the color. I don't think it contains any color.

Do you feel like Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner give you back acne?

If you rinse your hair and the conditioner runs down your back and stays on your back, it can clog pores because it has a lot of oils in it. Just like if you put conditioner or any other hair product on your face, it can cause breakouts.

Sometimes, if I don't rinse my hair really well and I have trace amounts of conditioner still in it, I get sits on my temple because that's where my hair touches. Maybe its TMI, but it is true.

So try and rinse your hair the best you can, and wash your back too.

Lesson learned.Do you feel like Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner give you back acne?
4 Simple Tips to Treat Back Acne

    1. Wear Loose Cotton Clothing

Breathing materials such as cotton are ideal for those with poor skin conditions in the back. Cotton is a breathing material that allows a good flow of air through and does not isolate the body in a perspiration heat trap. This circulation of air is enhanced if the shirt is not fitting tight on the body.

Also, always wear clean clothes as acne-prone skin will be sensitive to bacteria that has accumulated in worn clothing.

    2. Wash Immediately After Exercising

If you are physically active - especially in warm and hot weather - it is very advantageous if you are able to wash immediately after exercising. Allowing sweat and bacteria to linger in your back can worsen your existing skin condition. When you wash, take care to exfoliate the skin so as to remove dead skin cells that reside at the surface and are susceptible to clog skin pores.

    3. Avoid Backpacks

The constant friction and increased heat caused by wearing a backpack makes them a very bad idea for people with back acne - particularly during the summer. When possible, use any other kind of bag or buy a well built backpack that is designed to allow the back to breathe. These backpacks will leave a space between the back and most of the bag's surface. Try getting one at an outdoors or sports' shop.

    4. Treat Your Back With Home Remedies

There are many home remedies for acne. A white (softer) or green (stronger) clay mask a few times a week can be a wonderful treatment. Use aloe vera gel after the clay mask so as to re-hydrate the skin. If you dry up the skin too much, this may further complicate your situation as the body is likely to respond by secreting more oil for the skin.

Also Pay Close Attention To This:Do you feel like Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner give you back acne?
    no.

but you shouldn't use it anyways.

i had a stylist tell me that pantene

has this shoe shine in it

which is what makes it shiny.

and it's hard to get out of your hair...

even if you think it's out.
I never heard anything about Pantene having shoe shine... LOL!

I have used Pantene for a few years and my hair loves it. I have had no back acne issues either.

Do the Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo and conditioner work?

What were your results?Do the Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo and conditioner work?
Any pantene products that I have used work well for the first week, then they leave my hair heavy and static-y because, my stylist told me, they contain wax.Do the Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo and conditioner work?
its good for the first few washes then it makes ur hair kinda dry especially if u use heated tools Report Abuse

basically shampoos that are designed to grow hair longer dont actually grow hair longer....they just keep it healthy and protect itso you dont have to cut as much off the ends. But, any shampoo with sulfate in it (pantene has it) will damage hair. There are tons of shamppooos now a days that don't have sulfates in them, look for those they are gentler on the hair.Natural is best. The bodyshop honey shampoo and condistioner is nice.
Nope, no shampoo will make your hair grow faster. Try taking vitamins that are especially formulated for you hair. The more biotin the better. Biotin will make your hair grow faster and thicker. Or try taking prenatal vitamins, they are good for your hair, skin and nails.
I've never tried the Beautiful Lengths shampoo and conditioner, but I wouldn't recommend any Pantene products. One of the main ingredients in their shampoo is an ingredient used in making candle wax. That's why your hair feels all waxy after you use it.
    Not at all,

it causes dandruff becuase their products contain wax.
don't expect amazing results in growth,

but they will make your hair pretty smooth and

    smell great.
    nope!!!

  • Who loves pantene shampoo and conditioner?

i just got out of the shower and i used pantene, it smells soooo gooooodddWho loves pantene shampoo and conditioner?
I like it :] the first time i used it, everyone noticedWho loves pantene shampoo and conditioner?
It is good stuff. They don't allow their formula to be used by any other company, so those generic brands that imitate the look of the Pantene bottles are not the real thing.

The long-hair formula is the only one I didn't like: it made my hair feel stiff and greasy.
it just smells good...shampoo is so strong it will destroy ur hair...u knw stronger the smell more harmul it is...coz it has more chemicals...

have u ever noticed that herbal shampoos have light smell thats because they have less chemicals....

avoid pantene or ne other strong odor shampoos nd conditioner..
I loooove Pantene! I use Pro-V. It's been a tremendous help in moisturizing my hair after I nearly killed it from straightening too much. =]
i still use voseme i love it you can smell it for ages

What do u think of Pantene shampoo?

i have been to a hairdresser and she told me not to use pantene coz it strips the hair of something and leaves hair dry and damaged. Is this true. If so, wat is the best brand of shampoo and condition to use on wavy dry hairWhat do u think of Pantene shampoo?
What it doese is strip youre hair of natural oils and replace it with chemicle ones that actually srys youre hair if ou stop using it dove is great it gives nutrients to natural oils and it is not as expensiveWhat do u think of Pantene shampoo?
actutally it depends on your hair ..........may be it is not working on your hair
Nope it does not.Really.It works fine on hair.It actually moisturises and adds admino proteins because it looses hair proteins.
I never thought pantene was any good

but i just use any that's on special

really i don't think any are better than the other but

just try how they effect your hair type some do make my hair frizzy so trial %26amp; error is all you can do or ask the hairdresser
My hair dresser told me the same thing. As my best friend works there I felt it best to listen. I changed to elvive.
Pantene makes my hair really soft and smooth. My hairdresser told me that it puts a coating over hair which means if you put colour on it, it wont work properly.

Aussie shampoo and conditioners are good (you can get them for like 拢5 each at Boots) and the Redken extreme range is good fro dry hair (you can get them for like 拢10 each at hair salons).
Try the dove shampoo. It's a lot more gentle on your hair and also use the neutrogena clean rinse once a week to get rid of the residue.
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome!!! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Safeway, Albertsons, Duane Reade, etc. You'll love it!

    www.organixhair.com
Pantene is the worst brand out there b/c it just builds up and strips your hair of any natural moisture it had.I thought it was awesome til I found out the truth. I have bad hair because of it. I love herbal essences even though my fiance says its what strippers use. and it smells great and fruity. It has actually helped my hair and my lovelife. It makes my hair soft and straight. I love that stuff.
i think you should use dove

Has anyone tried the pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner?

No, but makeupalley.com is what I use for reviews on products and things. I'm pretty sure you have to make a login name and stuff but it's easy and SO worth it later because then you can check on whatever makeup, etc. you feel like. Has anyone tried the pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner?
no it doesn't work.you can only make your hair grow with vitamins from the inside.Has anyone tried the pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner?

yes it works, im using it now.. but i think there are some products that would do better unfortunately i have no clue.. sorryDo Pantene Volume Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner work? What are other good volume products?
I HATE Pantene Volume Shampoo. I have such thin hair and I'm always trying new shampoos. The one I've found to work the best is

Infusium 23 Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It smells great and it works even better!

Hope this helps!Do Pantene Volume Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner work? What are other good volume products?
    heres some tips,

    1. blow dry ur hair crazy style e.g flip ur hair around and jump lyk a crazy rock star.

    2. spray volumising hairspray and ruffle up ur 'do (while its semi wet)

    3. part ur hair o the right side in the morning and change sides later in the day to create the illusion of volume

    :} byee
I guess the actual answer is that it will depend on your hair. Personally, I've had great success with them. I have very long, fine, super-straight, limp, blonde hair. I use the Pantene Volume Maximizer Shampoo and Conditioner fairly regularly. When I use it, my hair has noticeably more body to it, and a little bit of a wave, as well.

As far as other products for volume, I haven't had any success with any of the ones I've tried. However, using a shampoo that is designed to create curls helps to give my hair a greater body and a distinct wave, although my hair does not actually curl.

    I hope this is helpful!

What is the best shampoo to use? Aveeno? Pantene?

I have seen commercials for Aveeno and Pantene hair care products and have some interest in them. My hair is about to my underarms, has highlights, and a lot of damage from straighening years ago. Unfortunately my hair gets greasy easily and moisturizing shampoo tends to weigh down my hair... help? opinions? advice? Nothing too complicated, I just want to try a good shampoo and conditioner. What is the best shampoo to use? Aveeno? Pantene?
Aveeno shampoo is new so i haven't tried it yet. But my mom has and she said it was amazing.

I've used pantene, and it's pretty good, your hair will smell good all day.

And my hair is the same as your's, so make sure you buy clear shampoos, and make sure they aren't moisturizing, they should say for oily to normal hair.

Sometimes the normal hair ones work the same.

I hope i didn't confuse you. What is the best shampoo to use? Aveeno? Pantene?
i went to Cosmetology school. i have my license and my own shop. i say neither one of those shampoos. aveeno is a heavy shampoo and conditioner. pantene is good but its proven that is causes hair loss after long time use. i say use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. you can get it at any walgreens or hair beauty supply store. thats what i use. my hair is natural blond so it gets oily easily also. mane and tail is great. the bottles are huge. will last for months. they are usually about 8 dollars a piece. once you see the bottle size you wont mind paying that at all. i love it!
Ok, so I just got Dove, Heat Defense Therapy shampoo + conditioner. It works SO well! Just one use and your hair is shiny and soft. I LOVE it and would HIGHLY recommend it. It is 5 bucks a bottle, but I can guarantee you will love the results. And I actually did notice some improvement on my split ends. Also I'm pretty sure they have other Heat Defense Therapy products, But I can't remember what. You should look into it.

    ~Val =)
you should go to lush.com and check out there big shampoo(yes its called big)its made from raw seasalt and seaweed. dont be put off its chemical free and makes it so shiny.ive never used a product like this and havent used anyother since.and i only have to wash my hair every 4 days as my scalp doesnt get clogged with chemicals
I ca n recommend Pantene. My hair was damage because of rebonding and when I use Pantene, it makes my hair shiny and healthy.
I use herbal essences and nutregena no residue, this cleanses your hair and it's amazing but you only use it once every week. It gives your hair a clean slate.
Pantene kills dogs and puts their fat into their shampoo, so I wouldn't suggest that.

I would suggest Suave (cheap, works well), Herbal Essances Drama Clean, or Tresseme.
Aveeno is better, pantene is quite terrible depending on the type.
    pantene

Is pantene a good shampoo/conditioner to use for people that have damaged or dry hair?

is pantene a good shampoo/conditioner to use if you want to repair your hair if its damaged or dry or has alot of split ends?Is pantene a good shampoo/conditioner to use for people that have damaged or dry hair?
their repair and protect shampoo and conditioner is gorgeous.

my hair has never looked better

it doesnt seal split ends though :(Is pantene a good shampoo/conditioner to use for people that have damaged or dry hair?
It makes my hair nice, but it also makes it fall out!!
Yes, I love Pantene! I would suggest using the Deep Fortifying treatment (http://www.pantene.com/en-US/product/pro鈥?/a> and/or the Protecting Leave-in Spray (http://www.pantene.com/en-US/product/pro鈥?/a> with the Moisture Renewal shampoo and conditioner (http://www.pantene.com/en-US/product/moi鈥?/a> and http://www.pantene.com/en-US/product/moi鈥?/a> or Pro-V Restoratives breakage defense shampoo and conditioner (http://www.pantene.com/en-US/product/pro鈥?/a> and http://www.pantene.com/en-US/product/pro鈥?/a>
Yes. I use it and I love it. Take it from me - I am so picky about almost everything. But you also need to make sure you are getting trims for the split ends, and lay off the heat styling if you use it more than 3 times a week. That will all help, too.

i use the same shampoo as i use. its an everyday shampoo so is quite mild. i think its fine.
No I use shampoo that are designed for kids, there is loreal kids and other shampoo out there for children, I wouldn't use an adult one.
I usually use a kids shampoo and conditioner two in one, since it's tear free if it gets in their eyes, but on occasion have used adult shampoo. There is nothing wrong with using it on toddler hair, but be careful of getting in the eyes.

Guys can use them too, of course!

Why wouldn't a man be able to use a nice shampoo?

    :P

go ahead. Pantene smells delicious. Girls will love it.
Though many hair care products are marketed toward women, there's no reason a man can't use them. The type of hair you have does not depend on your gender.

  • Have you had trouble with Pantene Shampoo?

I'm using the Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo and my hair has felt a little thinner and it doesn't seem to be working with my hair breakage.

Any help on what this might be or suggestions for a new shampoo, thank you so much...

(my hair is long and super curly)Have you had trouble with Pantene Shampoo?
Use Aussie or Herbol Essences. I use Aussie and I love it. I had trouble with Pantene, too, because it doesn't have anything in it to help make your hair healthier.Have you had trouble with Pantene Shampoo?
    Nope, not at all.

    I use Pantene Moisture Renewal

shampoo and I have no complaints, it's

    really nice.

I have the Beautiful Lengths conditioner

too. It's pretty good, it's not my favorite but

it's one of them - I still like it.

My favorite is Joico Moisture Renewal,

I love the smell, the texture, and it works well.

For breakage though, try Redken Extreme.
Pantene is not good from what I hear, every one of my hair dressers I have been to says absolutely do not use it. Try Curl Life Defining System by matrix. It is expensive but works amazing. Hope this helps.

Does Pantene Prov Beautiful Lengths Shampoo actually make your hair grow?

I have it and im just wondering.Does Pantene Prov Beautiful Lengths Shampoo actually make your hair grow?
I'm using that shampoo right now. It isn't making my hair grow at all, haha. But it IS making it healthy, have less split ends, etc. The shampoo is really nice smelling, too.

Too bad it doesn't actually make my hair grow...

    Oh well.

:(Does Pantene Prov Beautiful Lengths Shampoo actually make your hair grow?
To be honest,no product can make your hair grow faster, but they can make it grow healthier. To make your hair grow faster you must take care of it,drink plenty of water, use a heat activated conditioner to prevent breakage, minimize your heat use, make sure its moisturized(when you get a perm, try using one that has moisturizer built in to it.)and even getting a deep conditioning every once in a while. But,don't let it get to the point where its greasy, that as well can retard hair growth.
it doesn't exactly make your hair grow.

its designed to give back all the oils and nutrients your hair needs, when your hair is healthy it grows much faster, that the reason people get trims every few months, split ends are ';unhealthy'; hair.
Not really ive used it and i noticed a little bit of length like a centimetre after 3 weeks.
i dont think it makes your hair grow faster, it just helps you avoid split ends so that your hair will look longer.
probably not i think it just keeps your hair strong and healthy so you don't have to cut the split ends as often. :)
    nope.

my bangs didnt grow when i had it

    :p

Tresemme OR Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner best for you hair?

    Hey everyone :)

I was wondering if you guys can tell me (preferably from experience) whether Tresemme or Pantene Pro-v shampoo and conditioner works best on thick hair?

Which has more benefits of healthier hair?

Thanks!Tresemme OR Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner best for you hair?
Tresemme worked a lot better on my hair... I have very curly, thick hair, and Tresemme conditioner made it really soft and much easier to style. I always have to switch it up, though. Eventually the effect fades and I go to a whole new product line :)Tresemme OR Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner best for you hair?
i use pantene beautiful lengths and i have long, thick hair
