Should i use pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner daily?
it says to use daily .. so should i?
if not how many times a week should i use it?
btw, i don't dye my hair anymore, i just got it cut, i don't straighten, curl, or blow-dry it, and it's in good shape.Should i use pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner daily?
Your hair sounds oily if you have wash it every other day and it gets oily in between washings. I would start washing your hair everyday. I also must wash my hair everyday because if I don't, my hair gets oily.Should i use pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner daily?
Pantene = Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad brand.
Pantene shampoos contain silicon (which is what makes it feel so amazing afterwards) but this eventually builds up and can make your hair horrible.
I suggest using a reputable salon brand.
I use that shampoo too
and I would say use it everyday because I do
but truthfully it all depends on your hairtype
i do use it every day

Which is a better shampoo/conditioner Pantene vs. TRESemme?
If neither of them, which do you think is the best?Which is a better shampoo/conditioner Pantene vs. TRESemme?
TRESemme is amazing. By far the best. If you leave the conditioner in your hair for two minutes (like it says on the bottle), your hair will turn out incredibly soft.Which is a better shampoo/conditioner Pantene vs. TRESemme?
tresemme has better shampoo conditioner pantene smell strong clog you scalp pores so is not good the only thing I like is the hair balm , mousse.

Is the shampoo pantene tested on animals?
i heard that the shampoo pantene is distributed by the company Procter And Gamble and i also heard they test their products on animals, does anyone know if there is any fact to this? beacause my girlfriend uses the shampoo and would not if she knew it was tested on animalsIs the shampoo pantene tested on animals?
every thing that stacia420 said is absolutely retarded. they do test on animals and no the law does not require them too, which is why there is so many products labeled not tested on animals. She is clearly a rep. from proctor and gamble which is a cruel company which frequently tests on poor innocent animals. She also clearly has no brain and needs to realize what cruel, horrible things she is supporting. Stacia grow a ******* heart. Is the shampoo pantene tested on animals?
What is your policy about research involving animals at P%26amp;G?
P%26amp;G has ended research involving animals on all our finished consumer products except when required by law. We use non-animal alternatives first. We'll only use animal testing when there are no other reasonable options.
In our Healthcare business, we're focused on developing innovative medicines that improve people's lives. Current regulatory standards require animal research while developing these medications. It's our policy to use the minimum number of animals necessary while working toward our goal of the reduction and replacement of animals. We continue to identify screening techniques that are acceptable to global regulatory groups to take the place of animal tests in the earliest phase of drug discovery.
Through our pet care and nutrition products, we help dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives. We feed our foods first to dogs and cats to help us develop nutrition that delivers true health benefits to millions of pets worldwide. We make sure the dogs and cats we work with receive the best care. We treat them as if they're our own pets. They are adopted into loving homes or placed in our retirement facility when their help is no longer needed. At the same time, we're working hard on alternatives to find even better ways of getting these results and eliminating the need for additional research with other animals.
We'd rather use alternative test methods. Not only is the use of animals avoided, but reliable alternative tests generally cost less and take less time than animal research. We'd like to be able to eliminate animal research on ingredients in consumer products altogether, and we're making progress. We've invested over $190 million in alternatives, making us an industry leader. We've helped develop over 50 alternative methods and have shared our work in over 300 scientific publications. We're also working with the FDA and respected animal welfare groups, such as the Humane Society of the United States, to work on reforming regulations and validating alternative methods. I use Pantene too and i hope thye do not test my shampoo on any animal! I would have to stop using it!!!
many shampoos (used for humans) have labels on them that say ';not tested on animals'; look for that label then if its not there u should be good to go
the only ones that don't test on animails will say it on the back of the bottle. if it doesn't, then they do.
yes they do 99% of the things your girlfriend uses ae tested on animals
HAHHAHAHHA
What a bunch of **** she just said huh?
Got to IAMSCRUELTY.COM to see what a ';nice facility'; means for P%26amp;G
If it's not on this list, then it might probably be tested on animals - these are the only products that you can trust are NOT tested on animals -
http://www.choosecrueltyfree.org.au/list鈥?/a>
There are so many good cosmetics and shampoos that are NOT EVER tested on animals (Innoxa, Starlet, Australis, Lush, Yardley), there's no excuse for using the others, unless you don't care about animals having their eyes burnt out with shampoo, being force fed lipstick until their stomachs burst. It's just unconscionable.
Progressive companies are now using a much preferable way of testing chemicals and products - on human cells in a test tube. It's not only much more humane to animals, it's also more scientific, and gives us information on how products actually interact with humans, which of course makes more sense than testing things on any animal who doesn't even share our biology!

Pantene Volumizing shampoo and conditioner?
Do the pantene volumizing products work?Pantene Volumizing shampoo and conditioner?
Pantene tests on animals. I do not recommend the product for this reason. I also do not recommend this product because they use animal fats (as waxes) to shine the hair. This can cause severe damage to your hair. The ';protein'; from the fats can actually break off hair and damage the remaining follicles. With continued use, you would eventually have extremely damaged hair - sometimes I get people coming into the salon wanting the stylists to scrape off the waxes! Its a real mess!
I would suggest using Tresemme's Volume collection instead of Pantene. Tresemme doesn't test on animals and does not include any animal-derived products (except in their ';Anti-Breakage'; collection to were they use gelatin in their conditioner.)
Here is a complete list of their Volume collection:
http://www.tresemme.com/volume/products/鈥?/a>
Good luck! :)Pantene Volumizing shampoo and conditioner?
don't use them unless you have an extra 10-20 minutes to comb out your hair after you get out of the shower... pantene coats your hair in a wax (it's supposed ';shine';) and causes the hair to severely tangle.. go to a salon and ask for volumizing products that actually work
I always use pantene, and it works the best out of all the other hair products I have used in the past. I would definately recommend for you to give it a try:)
I've tried them and they didn't make any difference on my hair.
yep they work

How come when I use Suave shampoo & conditioner, my hair is smoother and less frizzy than when I use Pantene?
I usually use the cheap Suave shampoo and conditioner, but I decided to try Pantene Pro V, the moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner for dry damaged hair. I am so surprised that the cheap stuff, that isn't even designed for my dry hair, works better than the expensive stuff. Pantene actually made my hair 10x more frizzy and dry looking. I am wondering, how, and why???How come when I use Suave shampoo %26amp; conditioner, my hair is smoother and less frizzy than when I use Pantene?
B/c Pantene is crap in a bottle and messes your hair up.How come when I use Suave shampoo %26amp; conditioner, my hair is smoother and less frizzy than when I use Pantene?
Pantene is a wax base product it is soo bad for your hair. The reason you noticed a difference in your hair is because suave tends to strip and dry the hair out and with a wax build up on it. it is now removing all of the produuct that is just sitting on your hair! what you should do if you have curly hair is get CATWALK it is cheap enough and works well! You have to remember your hair is like your skin it needs a routine and the best thing to do is buy a different brand everytime your products run out so that it doesnt get used to the same thing and not work for you! I like to switch between Bumble %26amp; Bumble and Halo and Redkin! Just an FYI dont buy from a local store buy from a beauty shop I bought the same products at walmart and target and my salon and the walmart and target product ended up being the wrong thing in the wrong bottle!
The cheap stuff doesn't necessarily mean it has bad ingredients, and the expensive stuff doesn't mean it has good ingredients.
As a former hairdresser, products are hit and miss for users. Plus, your water quality also comes into play.
Pantene is junk, ask any salon stylist. The ';pan'; in the name stands for some sort of chemical they use in floor wax. It coats your hair with gunk.
Because just with other name brands, that is all you are paying for - the name and the hightech advertising.loan

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?
I want to know from your experience if pantene prov shampoo cause hairloss?I have heard that Pantene contains wax,and many other chemicals that damage ouy hair, using always it.Is it true?Because my boyfriend has thin hair and he wants to start using it?What to recomend him.To use or not to use?I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?
I hpe not!!!!! a lot of hair does come out in wash but that's just me!!!!! and I always seem to have plenty left on my head!!!!!!I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?
It does contain a kind of wax, but it doesn't cause hair loss. If your boyfriend has thin hair, he might want to try a volumizing shampoo like Full and Thick by Pantene.
i have been using it for ten years nothing wrong with my hair i think if that was true it would have been taken off the market by now.
maybe pantene doesnt suit his hair..thats quite possible.never use a particular shampoo for too long.ur hair will get used to the formula and it wont help..ask him to try a herbal shampoo..or clairol herbal essences,garnier,sunsilk,anything..avoid pantene if u r not too sure..loreal is good too..ask him to visit a salon n they will recommend a good shampoo for his hair type..
I dont think so. I been using pantene for like years now.... and i still have my hair lol matter of fact its past my waist now.
I've never heard of it causing hair loss but I do know it contains silicones, wax, and way too much protein (yes too much protein is bad for hair) Pantene is loaded with so mcuh crap you can't even read the ingredients! People who claim to use the same shampoo for 5 or 10 years are not your best sources simply because anyone who really knows about hair knows that we shouyld be switching shampoos every three months. Sometimes we get so into the habit of things we dont look around to see that there are better shampoos out there. Garnier Fructis is a great pantene alternative in that it contains so manyt natural oils and fruit extracts that are really good for your hair. Cocoa butter oil, avacado oil, and shea butter oil are only a few of the ingredients. Pantene claims to be loaded with its pro-vitamin formula..Well, what is that exactly???
it depends on ur hair type it suits sum 1 and not 2 d oder so change it now if u hav noticed it
That is totally untrue. I have used it for the last 5 years, and I have very thick hair. (sometimes I wish it WAS thinner lol). Tell him to use the one for volume, my husband has the same problem and it helps.

Because just with other name brands, that is all you are paying for - the name and the hightech advertising.
Is pantene shampoo good?
I have very curly frizzy hair that doesn't obey me.lol.
When my hair dries it gets really frizzy and big.
I want to be able to not have to straighten it so much. What shud I use?Is pantene shampoo good?
what you should use is a salon shampoo something that you would buy at a salon, ulta or sephora store. They sometimes carry some salon products at Walmart or Walgreen's. The reason why is because regular drugstore shampoos as they call them actually are bad for your hair and dry it out. Use a special shampoo for curly hair, preferably one that is moisturizing also you are going to want to use a curl cream or hair serum for curls. They may be more expensive but they are a ton better for your hair. TIGI ,Redken,Paul Mitchel are also good brands.

http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productD鈥?/a>Is pantene shampoo good?
Pantene is BAD for any hair! It actually has tiny plastic/wax particles in it that will seem to help your hair at first but then will build up in your hair making it dry and just bad. I would recommend using Redken Real Control shampoo and Conditioner, it smells awesome!!! and it helps with frizzy hair. With straightening, use a smoothing serum (paul mitchell super skinny serum) when drying your hair, it will reduce dry time and help control your hair a little. You use when your hair is wet and also dry.
Yeah it's pretty good.
And my hair is kinda like yours, but idk how frizzy yours gets.
%26amp; If you don't want your hair so damaged from straightening it, use a heat tamer.
My hair's like yours too.. It sucks. I still haven't found anything that works. But Pantene made my hair look even worse. I don't like pantene. The next shampoo and conditioner I'm going to try is Garnier :)
A frizz control serum.
IT REALLY DEPENDS WHICH TYPE YOU GET AND YES IT IS BECAUSE THERE IS A LOT OF KINDS

Pantene shampoo makes hair break?
my friend told me that pantene pro-v shampoo and conditioner makes your hair break and that i shouldn't use it especially if im trying to grow my hair out (which i am). is this true?Pantene shampoo makes hair break?
Pantene has floor wax in it.
NEVER put it in your hair.Pantene shampoo makes hair break?
I use pantene highlighting expressions and I love it! I actually don't use conditioner and even when I just brush it after JUST getting out of the shower, its so soft! so i would say no, it doesnt make hair break.

I used Pantene shampoo for relaxed hair and while washing my hair a lot of it was coming out. It doesn't do
with my other shampoo. Years ago my hairdresser told me Pantene is not good for you hair, but everyone swear by it. Is anyone else having Pantene hair problems?I used Pantene shampoo for relaxed hair and while washing my hair a lot of it was coming out. It doesn't do
My hairdresser told me never to use it, that it would ruin my already dry hair. I have long dark coarse curlyish hair which I relax periodically. It looks great when I use moisturizers and take good care of it. I use a kerastase oil on the ends, which I leave in.
It looked bad when I tried pantene. It may be good with other types of hair.I used Pantene shampoo for relaxed hair and while washing my hair a lot of it was coming out. It doesn't do
I love Pantene... would like to hear from others.
Yes, my daughter and I both noticed excessive hair loss using Pantene Shampoo and conditioner. We haven't used it for years.
Mebee you shouldn't be relaxin' yer hair.

Hey how would you rate pantene pro-v breakage defense shampoo, conditioner, and styling products?
I straighten my hair like a ton because i HAVE to so i need a shampoo and conditioner, stying products, etc. that are good for breakage defense and repair. if you don't think pantene breakage defense is good, then what is?Hey how would you rate pantene pro-v breakage defense shampoo, conditioner, and styling products?
pantene is really good
ive used herbal essences, garnier, nutrogena and aussie
and pantene makes my hair really soft and protects my hair
but it makesur hair thinner sometimes because its really strong
aussie is really good if you have frizzy hair, garnier makes yur hair soft and herbal essences is okay cause it has all these plant extracts in it=]
dont use deep treatment cause it's the same as normal conditioner i read it in a magazine=]
i straighten my hair everyday too!
oh try using john frieda=] it smells okay its not the best but it worked for me=]Hey how would you rate pantene pro-v breakage defense shampoo, conditioner, and styling products?
Out of all of the shampoos, conditioners and products I have ever used, Pantene is my favorite for both myself and my daughter. We use two different ones because her hair is a little different than mine but it is sooooo soft and clean looking and feeling. Seriously, people will comment your hair about how pretty and shiny it is if you use Pantene.
I personally use Pantene Pro-V Classic Care Shampoo and Conditioner for me and Smooth and Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner for my daughter.
We also use the deep fortifying treatment which is a conditioner that you leave in for 3 minutes and rinse out and it repairs damage to your hair.
For my daughter we use the Daily Renewal Treatment spray leave in conditioner.
and we both use the Pantene Curl defining Scrunching gel.
Hope this helps :)
Try Herbal Essences Break's Over Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave In. It has a Coco Mango scent and your hair will thank you.

Why Pantene is sold in the pharmacy if all say that is the worst shampoo?
I have been to many countries and I saw that Pantene shampoo is sold in the pharmacy. Why is sold there when people say that is worst shampoo? Why Pantene is sold in the pharmacy if all say that is the worst shampoo?
Because the pharmacy does NOT sell good quality shampoos.
Go to a salon, that's where you're going to find the excellent quality ones. Why Pantene is sold in the pharmacy if all say that is the worst shampoo?
It is not a bad shampoo, it just not suited for everybody's hair.
I love Pantene, and next to Dove shampoo, I think it's the best.
It's like African hair products. For my hair it is the worst shampoo and conditioner, but for someone else's hair it would be brilliant, don't assume that just because one or two people don't like a particular product, that it will be taken out of the stores completely.
because pantene pay the pharmacies alot of money to carry their product. doenst mean it's good for your hair.
diff people diff perception..if they r lousy kinds they wont be the most popular and most money making! i beg to diff.. i used tiier shampoo and conditioner and my hair strengthened!
Actually, there really is not a big difference amongst shampooes. There is no more difference amongst shampooes than between them and dish detergent. Most shampooes have the same top ingredients.
err nope! im using pantene now and it works for me :) i think it depends on who use it ...
I like that shampoo, its sold everywhere...
I have never heard pantene is the worst shampoo, the ones that are bad are baby shampoo (very stripping to the hair-its made for removing cradle cap-gentle to the eyes cuz it has a deadening agent in it so it wont sting) pert, prell, mane and tail (which coats the hair badly and can cause breakage over time and not good when doing chemical services) I have used the pantene restoratives shampoo and conditioner myself and loved it when my hair got really dried out. Of course professional products are the best to use. They are a little more pricey but can target your specific hair. Alot of over the counter products have alot of water in them where ur salon products r thicker, u use less so over time ur not really saving alot of money by buying from the stores.

Best drugstore shampoo that cleans as well as Pantene?
I use pantene to wash my hair because it does just that, it cleans my hair and it feels clean. However i read bad things about pantene. So i want a shampoo that cleans as well as pantene i can find in the drugstore. Please do not tell me to go to a salon, because...I wont.
So which shampoo cleans as well as Pantene?Best drugstore shampoo that cleans as well as Pantene?
okay i love pantene to although i use other shampoos and these makes work wonders on my hair (* avalible at a drug store)
loreal *
auusie*
matrix (avaliable online and at salons)
wash and go *
sunsilk *Best drugstore shampoo that cleans as well as Pantene?
Loreal seems to me to be one of the best, I know salons are always recommending their products but I don't really think they are any better than store bought products. I have tried Trevor Sorbet shampoo and conditioner and it didn't seem any better than the others.
When I colour my hair with Loreal products I always notice how great their after colour conditioner works so that is why I would recommend their stuff, have fun.
i use suave and it works real good. i personally would recommend baby shampoo because not only does it clean good but it also makes your hair soft and fresh. but i doubt youll use that so i would say suave works best.
Tresemme
The fruity one in the lime green bottle. It is like garnues fructiese or something. (I don't know how to spell it.)
I love love love Fruit Garnier Shampoo. They have a variety to choose from too!

Is it safe to use Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner everyday?
I know that we can use conditioner everyday but I've heard that it's bad to use shampoo everyday and we should use it every other day. Is it safe to use the 2 in 1 shampoo everyday? Is it safe to use Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner everyday?
my hairstylist told me that if you have any chemical (dyeing, etc) or mechanical (constant straightening, blowdrying, etc) damage, you should not be using a 2 in 1 at all, you definately need a separate conditionerIs it safe to use Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner everyday?
i have used pantene pro-v and my hair got soooo dry, the pH was too strong for my scalp and i had dandruff everywear, I dont suggest that brand.
i use pantene every day both shampoo and conditioner and i have great hair i dont think its unsafe actually its good for your hair since it has so many vitamins

Because just with other name brands, that is all you are paying for - the name and the hightech advertising.

Which Pantene shampoo and conditioner?
In about 15 minutes we are going for some last minute school clothes shopping at Kohl's. Then we're going to Wal-mart for highlighters and I gave my mom a foot massage and a massage to get rid of headaches. So she's said she'd get me a good shampoo and conditioner. Nothing over 6 or 7 bucks for a bottle. I was thinking Pantene. maybe the Ice Shine? What should it be??????Which Pantene shampoo and conditioner?
Most hair dressers dont recommend pantene. Its no good. Try getting a brand from a hair dressers as it is usually the type they use on their clients. You are a lovely daughter x x xWhich Pantene shampoo and conditioner?
I studied hairdressing at tafe last year.
First thing I learnt.
Never ever ever use pantene or anything like that, though your hair may feel lovely once you use it, it creates a coat that builds up over time and hairdressers hate that.
Spend the extra money on what a hairdresser will recommend, your hair feels so much better trust me. I made the switch and I have never looked back
Also the only way to straighten curly hair is with an iron.
go to the pantene website and look through all of the different types of shampoos. all of them do what they say they do, so just pick whichever one fits the needs (or wants) for your hair.
http://www.pantene.com/jsp/collection/in鈥?/a>
usually they are less then $4 each.
go for the pantene daily renewal ones.
or herbal essences always are great, same price and they always smell the best.
they come in a variety for straightened, curled, color, and long hair types.

Is pantene proV the best conditioner and shampoo for African American hair to grow?
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, Amazon.com, etc. You'll love it!

.Is pantene proV the best conditioner and shampoo for African American hair to grow?
technically, it doesn't depend on what kind of shampoo/conditioner you use...though if you didn't know, pantene pro-v is kinda bad for your hair because it leaves gunk behind..and this goes the same for any kind of hair..for your hair to grow, keep it as healthy as possible, like drink water and stuff..and it helps a little if you trim just a little off the tips every 2-3 months to rid of the damage..hope this helps :)Is pantene proV the best conditioner and shampoo for African American hair to grow?
shampoo wont necessarily make your hair GROW. but it'll keep it clean and healthy FOR it to grow. but overall, yea, pantene is a good shampoo and conditioner for black people. but i don't use Pantene. i use Herbal Essences: Hello Hydration
try Dr. Miracles.. I've heard it is the best!
no
You can ask any hair-dresser and they'll tell you Pantene is a dirty word. No shampoo will make your hair grow faster. Take vitamins and limit the amount of heat tools you use on your hair - that'll help it grow faster! Growth comes from your scalp, not the hair itself. :)
My husband uses White Rain. I don't know if it's the shampoo, but his hair grows like grass. LOL
I don't find that it makes our hair manageble, you should probably try products like mazani or dudley they work wonders, ever Doogro works miracles, I am a living testomony of doo gro products, but there are different typesw of shampoo for different hair types,ex: thin, thick, damaged etc.., also take a look at infusion 23, it helps the breakage.
I don't use it because it makes my scalp itch. But I have heard a lot of Blacks use the product.
everyones giving you a good answer: proV doesn't help hair grow and shampoo doesn't really promote hair growth.
have you tried 'Motions' products? they make shampoos, conditioners, pomades, shine serums, oil sheens and a host of other products. their great for our hair type and so is 'Mane and Tail' shampoos and conditioners.
African Pride conditioning scalp oils and creams do it for me....makes my hair grow like weeds! I'd recommend them to anyone. they even have childrens' products that i use for my one year old!
clipping your ends once a month actually does promote hair growth and so does 'Dr. Miracle' hair products. they have specific serums for nape, edges and hair in general. i'm not sure if these products are sold in drug stores (rite aid, cvs), but i pick them up at my neighborhood 'beauty supply' stores.

If you stop straightening your hair, and use pantene shampoo and conditioner, does your hair repair itself?
It will help repair it and make it healthier looking
-RRZIf you stop straightening your hair, and use pantene shampoo and conditioner, does your hair repair itself?
If your hair is in really bad conditioning from straightening then the best thing to do is have it cut. use an intensive/deep conditioner and leave it in for as long as you're able to.
i don't think the brand will make much difference. i use a variety and have never noticed a difference. just keep it well conditioned.
if you do want to straighten it, put hair product on first. this will ensure your product is burnt rather than your hair.If you stop straightening your hair, and use pantene shampoo and conditioner, does your hair repair itself?
No.Pantene does little to nothing. You can help it by putting olive oil on it for about 15-20 minutes before shampooing.Cut it short and keep trimming ends until new hair grows out.Intense conditioners can help a little but can be expensive. You must grow new ,healthy hair.
no, you need to do more than just a Pantene shampoo and conditioner to repair the hair that damage.First, trim your , and then use hair vitamin oils before you take a shower twice a week.
before you start using the pantene repair shampoo and conditioner you should get your hair trimmed which will make it easier for your hair to get repairedloan

I have Breast cancer .What kind of mild shampoo should I use ? My Pantene shampoo irritated my scalp.?
The most gentle shampoo you will find is baby shampoo. I recommend Johnson and Johnson. Also, dont wash your hair very often if your scalp is sensitive. You can wear a shower cap and wash it every 2-3 days, it's not that bad and you get used to it.I have Breast cancer .What kind of mild shampoo should I use ? My Pantene shampoo irritated my scalp.?

What is the best shampoo to use to make my hair grow long? Is pantene really the best?
What shampoo conditions to grow without emptying my pocket book? What is the best shampoo to use to make my hair grow long? Is pantene really the best?
pantene is not a good product, i've heard this from many different sources. (actually no drug store brand products are good for the hair) it has something to do with protein build up and sulfates that are in those products.
growing hair long takes good nutrition, regular trims, prenatal vitamins, scalp massages and treating hair like fine lace. What is the best shampoo to use to make my hair grow long? Is pantene really the best?
No shampoo will help you 'grow' your hair longer!!
Any shampoo is good as long as it nourishes your hair and doesn't leve it frizzy! Just go for the one which suits you best, all a shampoo does is clean your hair and scalp off the sirt and make it look wonderfullll....Good luck in choosing!!
use sunsilk
none-they dont work
Shampoo's used mostly for cleansing and strengthening. To get your hair to grow faster, have the ends trimmed more often. Not much, but enough to get rid of dead ends.
pantene may seem ok but in the professional world of hair it is the worst it is full of wax it causes lots of buildup and makes hair heavy and flat it is also the last thing your hairdresser wants to hear if you get any type of color service done becase there is so much wax build up it is hard for the color to break threw the build up this mite make coloring your hair a challange sorry to say but there is no shampoo to help hair grow faster but getting your hair trimed ever 6 to 8 week will make the process go faster
I HAVE HEARD THAT PANTENE STRIPS THE HAIR OF GOOD CELLS! MY HAIR IS SUPER THIN AND SUPER LONG AND ALL I USE IS SUAVE AND I GET A REGULAR TRIM EVERY COUPLE MONTHS AND MY HAIR GROWS LIKE CRAZY
THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED MAIN AND TAIL IT IS FOR HORSE MAINS YOU CAN GET IT AT WAL-MART LESS THEN 5.00$ THERE IS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONERS
none. your hair will grow 1/2 inch a month tokeepit from breaking use a conditioner leave in like infusium and don't wash it alot. let the natural oils stay in the hair and strengthen it
Suave.
Oh, I'm sorry. That's if you want your hair to fall out. And at a buck forty-nine a bottle, you can't beat it.
It comes in a variety of flavors, too!
Don't believe everything you read on shampoo labels or commercials.Consult your hair salon. I take hormones and my hair grows at rapid speed.
Well I truly don't think that there is a shampoo that will make your hair grow longer...
But if you are on birth control that will do it and if you want even better results.... try prenatal vitamins.
herbal enseses..i use that..im sikh i have to keep my hair but thats a good shampoo to use to maintain
It's not the shampoo, it's how you use it. Be sure to massage your scalp real good while you're shampooing and brush your hair every night before bed. Also, massage your scalp a few time during the day if you can. This increases blood flow to your hair follicles and allows your hair to grow faster. Also, gelatin is good for your hair and nails. Eat lots of jello and pudding or stir plain gelatin into a hot liquid like coffee or tea. Be sure to drink it while it's hot and you won't even know it's there.
I use Infusium 23 moisturizing..it has not failed me for over 14 years
Pantene is really bad for your hair. What makes it so shiny is wax. Pantene weighs your hair down, making it very unhealthy.
growing long hair isn't in the shampoo. it has to do with vitamins and nutrients in your body. Eat healthy, high vitamin and nutrient rich foods and you better your chances. However, genetics also plays an enormous role. If you come from a family with thin or fine hair, some with hair loss, your chances are pretty much pre determined by your ancestors.
Yes order some hair formula 37 that stuff is the best heres a link....
No...use a herbal shampoo
I use Head and Shoulders (it's cheap!), not because I have dandruff but because like the commercial says, ';Healthy hair starts at the scalp';! It makes my hair sooo smooth and silky, then I top it off with a very deep conditioner like Silk Elements which is also only like $5 for a good sized bottle. I chopped over a foot of my hair off last summer, it was about an inch all over and I really really disliked it and wanted it to grow really bad. The best thing I found was just to massage your head good when you wash, MASSAGE DON'T SCRATCH, and take some prenatal vitamins! They are not just for pregnant women!
Now my hair is shoulder length.
Pantene looks good, but there are some ingredients that coat the hair shaft to make it look shiny. This won't last forever, and it weighs down the hair. Tea tree oil shampoos work well, and so does prenatal vitamins, believe it or not.

Has anyone here used Pantene Pro V shampoo/conditioner and how did it work for you?
Hi! wow i totallly love this stuff because they make kinds for all hair which is wonderful because your hair will get the kind of attention it needs! And it works so well! =]Has anyone here used Pantene Pro V shampoo/conditioner and how did it work for you?
Hi! My hair is super-curly so idk if this will affect you. I tried the shampoo and it usually frizzes my hair really bad, so I tend to stay away from it. The conditioners however- I use the conditioner almost everytime I'm in the shower. Preferably Relaxed and Natural Intensive Moisturizing Conditioner...Has anyone here used Pantene Pro V shampoo/conditioner and how did it work for you?
yes I have and it works really good, my sister lives by it and it doesn't make your hair too oily. But i suggest you also buy the conditioner not just the 2 in 1 because for some reason that still leaves my hair with some static
yes i have. and it does work pretty well. your hair doesnt come out like it does in the commercials though, so be warned. i use the garnier fructis sleek and shine sheer set, and i think it works a lot better than pantene.
I used it and it is great. I have cradle cap (type of dandriff) and now it's almost gone. I have like none anymore and it smells good too.
Hi! My hair is super-curly so idk if this will affect you. I tried the shampoo and it usually frizzes my hair really bad, so I tend to stay away from it. The conditioners however- I use the conditioner almost everytime I'm in the shower. Pantene shampoo/conditioner made my hair greasy, help!?
I bought pantene relaxed and natural shampoo and conditioner, and after I used them once, my hair dried and felt greasy and rough. I tried washing them again with another shampoo, but it still felt greasy. Why is this? What can I do to make my hair normal again? Please help!Pantene shampoo/conditioner made my hair greasy, help!?
I absolutely loathe Pantene Pro-v Shampoos and conditioners. I agree that it makes your hair feel greasy.
One thing is, you may not be rinsing it out completely. To test this run your fingers through the greasy area and press your fingers on the greasy parts. Smell your fingers. Smell like the Shampoo/conditioner? That means you did not wash it out completely. That may be the product's fault though, as they may not be very good quality.
Also, the product just may be very greasy in general, and that means you should change.
Infusion 23 rinses out very easily. Though I now use John Frieda. Affordable and affective.Pantene shampoo/conditioner made my hair greasy, help!?
All drugstore shampoo has really harsh chemicals that dry out hair and wax that coats that hair shaft. But Pantene is the worse, so I am not surprised at all. If you have to use a drugstore brand use Aussie. They use natural ingredients instead of all of the wax and harsh chemicals.
because pantene is nasty, go to beauty supply and get a clarify-er.

Is Pantene Pro-V Total Care Shampoo a consumer convenience good or a shopping good?
It's for my marketing project but i cannot seem to get over this dilemma...Is Pantene Pro-V Total Care Shampoo a consumer convenience good or a shopping good?
A shampoo is considered to be a convenience good as it is purchased frequently by the consumers and not much of thought is given to it before buying it, if the customer/consumer does not take higher time for purchase decision process to switch over to other brand due to non availabililty then the item is categorised as convenient goods , whereas for a shopping good , evaluation of alternatives considering brand and other factors for that product taking more time considering the alternatives then it is shopping good. the link might be more helpfullloan

Is pantene shampoo/conditioner really that great?
just wondering. Is pantene shampoo/conditioner really that great?
I don't think so :|.
Haha well my aunt doesn't use pantene in her beauty shop because she says it contains too many chemicals like chlorine, and it damages the hair.
So I wouldn't say its that great. Is pantene shampoo/conditioner really that great?
for thick curly hair, no. Report Abuse
I use Relaxed and Natural for women of color and I really like it. It has intensive moisturization in both the shampoo and conditioner and smells pretty too!
no its realli bad for your hair ( =
My hairdresser told me to stay away from it. But I can't really use conditioner because of the amount of oil my hair produces. (My hair produces so much oil, I have to wash it everyday and my hairdresser advised me to use Palmolive or Dawn to get rid of the oil every once in awhile)
no, they changed their formula about a year ago and now it is horrible. i used to love the old formula but anything with the new ';amino proteins'; is bad. not worth the money. i now use dove and love it.
No.. If you want really good shampoo/conditioner, go to a salon.
if you have a perm or color treated hair then i'd say no....
Yeahh .. I use it and it really works well with my hair (I havn't tried the shampoo but the conditioner is amazing). I used to used the John Frieda Conditioner and it looked the same but was double the price and had great reviews. However, between the two I couldn't really find much of a difference they were both brilliant just diff. prices !
I use the smooth and sleek and it works good! I used to have frizzed out hair and from using it for the past two years the texture in my hair is 100% better

Does pantene ice shine conditioner still work without the complimentary ice shine shampoo?
I want to get the shiny hair from the conditioner but i'm afraid of using their shampoos cause they contain sodium lauryl/laureth, but will I still get shiny hair if i dont use the shampoo with it? The ad says to use it with the shampoo for best results, but some ppl say it doesn't matter. HELP?Does pantene ice shine conditioner still work without the complimentary ice shine shampoo?
Yes. The shampoo is similar to their clarifying shampoo, it just takes deposits and crap out of your hair so that the conditioner will work extra well, and give you really shiny hair.Does pantene ice shine conditioner still work without the complimentary ice shine shampoo?
Im thinking about buying the Pantene ice shine conditioner now ;lol tete Report Abuse

Is dove shampoo more gentle than Pantene?
I use to use pantene but i hear that they test on animals. I want a gentle shampoo. Is dove shampoo more gentle than Pantene?
Try tresemme (:
All my best (:
E-mail me if you want to know anything else (:Is dove shampoo more gentle than Pantene?
Pantene products are made by a company called procter %26amp; gamble and they test on every single product they make. They are also the makers of olay products, tampax pearl tampons, crest toothpaste, and various other products. To answer your question, pantene shampoo is a lot gentler than dove products. By the way, herbal essences tests their products on animals as well. Best of luck!
Dove is owned b Unilever who also tests on animals.
If you want a gentle, non-animal tested shampoo, go for Shikai, Beauty without cruelty, and other vegan brands. If you are on a budget, visit your local whole foods and get their brand shampoo- it is natural and non-animal tested as well.
Tresemme Rox! and its a lil cheaper than Pantene!
Yea i would go for dove. i dont like pantene. Oh or try suave

Does Pantene prov shampoo makes your hair stronger and healthy?
I want to have stronger hair and healthy.I thougt to start use Pantene shampoo.Because my hair is very thin and without volume. It is not strong,I`m afrraid that my hair starts to fall. Can Pantene shampoo protect my hair of falling?please help me,and tell from any experienceDoes Pantene prov shampoo makes your hair stronger and healthy?
SHampoos can make your hair smoother by making the cuticle lie flat. But, nothing can make hair ';healthy';. Hair is dead tissue and can't be made healthy per se. It can, through the application of the chemicals found in shampoo, be made to look different than it is . BUt, the effect will not be a permanent change.Does Pantene prov shampoo makes your hair stronger and healthy?
I use pantene and i dont see any damn difference its all bs if you ask me Shampoo is shampoo unless you get it from a salon.
i say it doesn't really make a difference, don't waist your money on expensive crap
omg forget about all these other people that have no idea what they are talking about
it works great trust me i use Pantene Pro-V
Al least they say so.
i use pantene pro v, and it makes my hair smoother and more manageable, and try the thickening type, because its upposed to help your hair become thicker
I've used just about every brand on the market - Pantene ProV is one of the better ones -for my hair anyway. I noticed more elasticity which reduced breakage %26amp; it smells GOOD!
I have baby-fine hair %26amp; I'm always on the lookout for volumizing products. I like Pantene's volumizing hairspray too.
If you have it in your area -a product called Big Sexy Hair and Mane %26amp; Tail Conditioner work well.
I've used supermarkets home brands and find its just as good as pantene.read the back of the bottle, its the same stuff
Well, everyone has different hair, so I'll have to say you just try it for yourself. It helped for me, but I have ';picky'; hair, so ya'll never know.
This is what I did:
Use ProV Volumizing Shampoo on roots ONLY! Then gently rinse through hair thoroughly.
Towel dried hair.
Followed with ProV Volumizing Conditioner and left on hair for 1 hour. Gently rinse your hair until in runs clean. Towel dry gently. Separate with a large comb. Use a little mousse at the roots and air lift with a drier set on low warm. Best to leave the rest to air dry if you can.
My hair is fantastic now. Do this every time you wash your hair. It's worth the time.
the only thing i've ever used that really ';fixed'; my hair was infusium23. at the time my hair was about to break off it was so badly damaged. this stuff restored it to a healthy state in weeks.
I heard from a salon that pantene is nothing but wax! And that it is not very good for your hair! You are just paying too much to put wax in your hair! The best to use is in salons, of course, you will be paying an arm and a leg for it but its worth it. My hair is finally stronger thanks to Paul Mitchell , Matrix, and Biologe
the new stuff HELL YEA
i don't know i don't use that but theres this really good all natural shampoo from melalueca! try it its way better than pantene prov!

Can i use normal pantene shampoo on my kitten?
Better to stick with Cat shampoo. Can i use normal pantene shampoo on my kitten?
no but i was my dog in johnsons baby shampooCan i use normal pantene shampoo on my kitten?
no its not good for there skin
yeah don't do that to your cat--they are very clean animals and groom themselves as much as they can..
but if it got really dirty or something and you really feel the need to use cat shampoo
who knows what in pantene shampoo definetely don't use that
no, because the shampoo that people use are way too acidic for a cat, and that would irritate it's skin. better if you used that shampoo for cats.
No definately not!
If you must wash your kitten do not use any human brand products on him/her.
you don't wash ur cat LOL that's a natural habit. find something else to occupy ur time LOL
Ok look, I know everyone else on here is screaming NO like it's the worst thing in the world, but seriously a friend of mine has a beautiful black cat that she washes with PANTENE SHAMPOO and her cat is sooooo oo oo glossy and beautiful, I was like, WOW your cat has nice fur and she told me the reason! As far as I know the cat has had no health problems, she is a healthy looking, sleek and fit cat with incredibly soft fur! So I don't honestly think it matters, I'm guessing people on here are saying know because using a human shampoo sounds dangerous and they've had NO real experience with using it.
And by the way, you probably SHOULD wait till your kitten is a grown cat, it shouldn't need a washing till it's older, and even then you don't need to wash it unless it's filthy and fell in a mud puddle or something!
dont be so silly and you are in charge off cats,
No! Use a pet shampoo. These chemicals will be too harsh for your kitten. If you can't find pet shampoo, then use baby shampoo. Something extremely mild and gentle.
=) No, probably shouldn't.
No!!! You need to buy proper shampoo for cats at an animal store, and they don't need to be cleaned that often. Maybe twice per year.
Cat shampoo.
normal patene is not bad , but kitten shampoo is much more preferable
if you don't have the cat shampoo, i would recomend that johnson and johnson baby shampoo
NO you must use kitten shampoo not even cat shampoo if the kitten is under 12months old you need to buy kitten shampoo for a pet store.
noooooo get special ones for cats
on the back of normal wash bottles will say not tested on animals
no it can react with their skin
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
the cat will ingest it by licking.
no go to a pet store to find animal shampoo
NO....wow...
No - it will irritate eyes, skin and mouth.
Use special kitten shampoo if the kitten is too dirty to clean itself. You could try a face cloth damp with warm water, but make sure the kitten doesn't get too cold, they lose heat fast.
No. Just get kitten shampoo from the pet store or Walmart.
Don't bathe your cat unless they have gotten in to something.
hey honey, i do not know how old you are but by the question you asked i think that you would know that you never bath a cat /kitten a they are petrifried of water to begin with and you will end up with not only scratch you but they will scar you, i have the proof on my arms and hands. It also scars them for life and will make them very resiliant when forming relationships with peole.please before doind anything phone a vet for some advice, thanx
Nope have to use cat shampoo you shouldnt really wash cats! they hate it
no it drys there skin out
no please don't it will irritate the kittens skin and you mite not wash it off properly so when the kitten is cleaning itself it will consume the shampoo stick to proper shampoos for animals
DO NOT DO THIS!
YOU CAT DOES NOT LIKE WAT3R LIK3 ALL CATS DONT. AS FOR TH3 SHAMPOO! OH MY GOSH.
SH3 WILL LICK H3R FUR AND COULD POSSIBLY DI3! THINK OF THIS B3FOR3 ANYTHING! YOUR POOR KITTY.
