What is the best shampoo to use to make my hair grow long? Is pantene really the best?

What shampoo conditions to grow without emptying my pocket book? What is the best shampoo to use to make my hair grow long? Is pantene really the best?
pantene is not a good product, i've heard this from many different sources. (actually no drug store brand products are good for the hair) it has something to do with protein build up and sulfates that are in those products.

growing hair long takes good nutrition, regular trims, prenatal vitamins, scalp massages and treating hair like fine lace. What is the best shampoo to use to make my hair grow long? Is pantene really the best?
No shampoo will help you 'grow' your hair longer!!

Any shampoo is good as long as it nourishes your hair and doesn't leve it frizzy! Just go for the one which suits you best, all a shampoo does is clean your hair and scalp off the sirt and make it look wonderfullll....Good luck in choosing!!
use sunsilk
none-they dont work
Shampoo's used mostly for cleansing and strengthening. To get your hair to grow faster, have the ends trimmed more often. Not much, but enough to get rid of dead ends.
pantene may seem ok but in the professional world of hair it is the worst it is full of wax it causes lots of buildup and makes hair heavy and flat it is also the last thing your hairdresser wants to hear if you get any type of color service done becase there is so much wax build up it is hard for the color to break threw the build up this mite make coloring your hair a challange sorry to say but there is no shampoo to help hair grow faster but getting your hair trimed ever 6 to 8 week will make the process go faster
I HAVE HEARD THAT PANTENE STRIPS THE HAIR OF GOOD CELLS! MY HAIR IS SUPER THIN AND SUPER LONG AND ALL I USE IS SUAVE AND I GET A REGULAR TRIM EVERY COUPLE MONTHS AND MY HAIR GROWS LIKE CRAZY
THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED MAIN AND TAIL IT IS FOR HORSE MAINS YOU CAN GET IT AT WAL-MART LESS THEN 5.00$ THERE IS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONERS
none. your hair will grow 1/2 inch a month tokeepit from breaking use a conditioner leave in like infusium and don't wash it alot. let the natural oils stay in the hair and strengthen it
Suave.

Oh, I'm sorry. That's if you want your hair to fall out. And at a buck forty-nine a bottle, you can't beat it.

It comes in a variety of flavors, too!
Don't believe everything you read on shampoo labels or commercials.Consult your hair salon. I take hormones and my hair grows at rapid speed.
Well I truly don't think that there is a shampoo that will make your hair grow longer...

But if you are on birth control that will do it and if you want even better results.... try prenatal vitamins.
herbal enseses..i use that..im sikh i have to keep my hair but thats a good shampoo to use to maintain
It's not the shampoo, it's how you use it. Be sure to massage your scalp real good while you're shampooing and brush your hair every night before bed. Also, massage your scalp a few time during the day if you can. This increases blood flow to your hair follicles and allows your hair to grow faster. Also, gelatin is good for your hair and nails. Eat lots of jello and pudding or stir plain gelatin into a hot liquid like coffee or tea. Be sure to drink it while it's hot and you won't even know it's there.
I use Infusium 23 moisturizing..it has not failed me for over 14 years
Pantene is really bad for your hair. What makes it so shiny is wax. Pantene weighs your hair down, making it very unhealthy.
growing long hair isn't in the shampoo. it has to do with vitamins and nutrients in your body. Eat healthy, high vitamin and nutrient rich foods and you better your chances. However, genetics also plays an enormous role. If you come from a family with thin or fine hair, some with hair loss, your chances are pretty much pre determined by your ancestors.
Yes order some hair formula 37 that stuff is the best heres a link....
No...use a herbal shampoo
I use Head and Shoulders (it's cheap!), not because I have dandruff but because like the commercial says, ';Healthy hair starts at the scalp';! It makes my hair sooo smooth and silky, then I top it off with a very deep conditioner like Silk Elements which is also only like $5 for a good sized bottle. I chopped over a foot of my hair off last summer, it was about an inch all over and I really really disliked it and wanted it to grow really bad. The best thing I found was just to massage your head good when you wash, MASSAGE DON'T SCRATCH, and take some prenatal vitamins! They are not just for pregnant women!

Now my hair is shoulder length.
Pantene looks good, but there are some ingredients that coat the hair shaft to make it look shiny. This won't last forever, and it weighs down the hair. Tea tree oil shampoos work well, and so does prenatal vitamins, believe it or not.
