Can i use normal pantene shampoo on my kitten?

Better to stick with Cat shampoo. Can i use normal pantene shampoo on my kitten?
no but i was my dog in johnsons baby shampooCan i use normal pantene shampoo on my kitten?
no its not good for there skin
yeah don't do that to your cat--they are very clean animals and groom themselves as much as they can..

but if it got really dirty or something and you really feel the need to use cat shampoo

who knows what in pantene shampoo definetely don't use that
no, because the shampoo that people use are way too acidic for a cat, and that would irritate it's skin. better if you used that shampoo for cats.
No definately not!

If you must wash your kitten do not use any human brand products on him/her.
you don't wash ur cat LOL that's a natural habit. find something else to occupy ur time LOL
Ok look, I know everyone else on here is screaming NO like it's the worst thing in the world, but seriously a friend of mine has a beautiful black cat that she washes with PANTENE SHAMPOO and her cat is sooooo oo oo glossy and beautiful, I was like, WOW your cat has nice fur and she told me the reason! As far as I know the cat has had no health problems, she is a healthy looking, sleek and fit cat with incredibly soft fur! So I don't honestly think it matters, I'm guessing people on here are saying know because using a human shampoo sounds dangerous and they've had NO real experience with using it.

And by the way, you probably SHOULD wait till your kitten is a grown cat, it shouldn't need a washing till it's older, and even then you don't need to wash it unless it's filthy and fell in a mud puddle or something!
dont be so silly and you are in charge off cats,
No! Use a pet shampoo. These chemicals will be too harsh for your kitten. If you can't find pet shampoo, then use baby shampoo. Something extremely mild and gentle.
=) No, probably shouldn't.
No!!! You need to buy proper shampoo for cats at an animal store, and they don't need to be cleaned that often. Maybe twice per year.
Cat shampoo.
normal patene is not bad , but kitten shampoo is much more preferable
if you don't have the cat shampoo, i would recomend that johnson and johnson baby shampoo
NO you must use kitten shampoo not even cat shampoo if the kitten is under 12months old you need to buy kitten shampoo for a pet store.
noooooo get special ones for cats

on the back of normal wash bottles will say not tested on animals
no it can react with their skin
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

the cat will ingest it by licking.
no go to a pet store to find animal shampoo
NO....wow...
No - it will irritate eyes, skin and mouth.

Use special kitten shampoo if the kitten is too dirty to clean itself. You could try a face cloth damp with warm water, but make sure the kitten doesn't get too cold, they lose heat fast.
No. Just get kitten shampoo from the pet store or Walmart.
Don't bathe your cat unless they have gotten in to something.
hey honey, i do not know how old you are but by the question you asked i think that you would know that you never bath a cat /kitten a they are petrifried of water to begin with and you will end up with not only scratch you but they will scar you, i have the proof on my arms and hands. It also scars them for life and will make them very resiliant when forming relationships with peole.please before doind anything phone a vet for some advice, thanx
Nope have to use cat shampoo you shouldnt really wash cats! they hate it
no it drys there skin out
no please don't it will irritate the kittens skin and you mite not wash it off properly so when the kitten is cleaning itself it will consume the shampoo stick to proper shampoos for animals
DO NOT DO THIS!

YOU CAT DOES NOT LIKE WAT3R LIK3 ALL CATS DONT. AS FOR TH3 SHAMPOO! OH MY GOSH.

SH3 WILL LICK H3R FUR AND COULD POSSIBLY DI3! THINK OF THIS B3FOR3 ANYTHING! YOUR POOR KITTY.
I would think maybe, but i would check to see if it was tested on animals or...You know what why don't you just use cat shampoo that was (gasp) made for cats..
No, shampoo formulated for humans is often too harsh for animals. Check with your veterinarian to be sure what to use.
