Is it Ok to use People Shampoo (Pantene) on Dogs when you give them a bath??

I ran out of shampoo and used pantene on my dogs. they seem fine and smell great too...Is it Ok to use People Shampoo (Pantene) on Dogs when you give them a bath??

Yes, its fine. Its preferable to use medicated dog shampoo, but if you run out, then Pantene will do. Make sure you rinse well.
I use people shampoo and conditioner on my dogs, and they are softer and smell great. And after 11 years, my oldest girls seem none the worse for it.
Don't use it too often. It people shampoo is more likely to dry out their skin and make them itchy or dandruffy.
no, no, no, not even baby shampoo. they are formulated differently. dawn dish soap is fine, and is great for helping to deflea puppies or dogs that can't have flea shampoo used on them. this would be a better alternative next time if you find yourself in the same situation again.

Not really...People Shampoo washes away oil...but pets need oil on their skin..it will irritate it and dry it out and cause a lot of itching and dandruff...Good luck

NO!!!!! Human shampoo irrates the skin on a dog. My dog groomer taught me to use dishwashing liquid like Dawn, Joy, ect. And it works fine! Been doing it for years now.
