Does Sunsilk shampoo actually make your hair silky and straight? Is it better than the Pantene shampoos?

No! Not at all.


I can tell you from experience that there is no need to use Sunsilk (unless your goal is to have your hair smell like that specific shampoo).


Pantene is 100% better. Pantene makes your hair soft and smooth and smells amazing. Its also a natural detangler.





Even though Im a huge fan of Pantene- I use Garnier Fructis. (In the green bottle.) Its the best shampoo Ive ever used- Even better than Pantene.


Its works wonders and after you get out of the shower- Your hair is so soft and smooth you could practically brush it with your fingers.


Its INCREDIBLE !!

pantene is terrible for your hair.


a little more than a year ago, i had really long, shiny, glossy hair. and then i started using pantene, and it really dried it out. my hair looked really dull and ratty.





i like herbal essences, bumble and bumble, aussie.

I think it depends on the type of hair you have.


If you have oily hair it`s probably not the best product to use.


If you have dry hair it will most likely nourish it and give it a smoothness. If it says it makes your hair silky its true. I dont think I bottle will lie.





You should try out the profuct you never know.

anything is better than Pantene. Pantene is a bad product. and no sunsilk doesnt make curly or wavy hair straight.





only thing that can actually straighten your hair is a an iron or blow dryer. The product can try to hold it straight though





PS Herbal Essence is CRAP for your hair also. Bumble and Bumble is one fo the best products out there.
I personally think Pantene works overall better. Its thicker and more expensive. But I've never tried the straightening one. But I have used the sunsilk straight for a couple days in a row and it did help.
sunsilk is AMAZING! it has helped relax my hair so much. pantene seemed to dry my hair out and created more breaks. i use sunsilk smooth and silky in the purple bottle. absolutely LOVE it
Well i find Sunsilk much better than Pantene. I usually use the sunsilk shampoo, conditioner and then after the 24/7 creme Sunsilk Hydra TLC (which you apply to damp hair). It makes your hair feel a lot softer and looks shinier!
The only real difference in the branding. Try different ones and use the one you feel makes your hair feel best. There really isn't that much of a difference.
use herbal essence, and try not washing conditioner out of you hair with warm water cause that's why it dries out, use cool/cold water.
no sunsilk made my hair even puffier. my favorite is tresemme.
Pantene makes your hair fall out, btw.
