How many people like pantene shampoo?

I have tried it and I like it, but I have heard from the hairstylist that it is bad for the hair. How many people get good results from it and do you know why is it supposed to be bad for the hair? How many people like pantene shampoo?
My theory is that hair stylists will tell you that so that they can scare you into buying their salon's hair stuff. I used to use Pantene regularly and was told by cosmetologists that I had extremely healthy hair. When I said that I used Pantene, they just got really quiet. LOL!!! I use Tresemme now, but I sometimes use Pantene or the store's generic version of it. Pantene smells awesome! How many people like pantene shampoo?
. Pantene and store brand shampoos contain lots of wax and sulfates. Ammonium Laurel Sulfate and sodium laurel sulfate strips hair color and wax blocks your scalps natural oils from lubricating your hair. it also has an extreme PH. We're not stupid and we're not tryin to scare you. Report Abuse

Well my hair is healthy despite all of the waxes I supposedly put in it. Report Abuse

I use pantene deep clean and I have been using it for months and it hasn't damaged my hair or dryed my hair out. I have really thick long hair and if I saw that the shampoo was destroying it I would've changed it a long time age.
I've also heard it's not good, but I use it and it's OK for me
I hated it! it gave me dandriff. Use herbal essence!!! it works
It works for me. It also depends on your hair type too, I think at least. I have red hair that is not really thick, but a little, and I have seen no damage.
I love it and don't see how it is bad for your hair.
I used the sleek and smooth shampoo and conditioner and i had great results. Try it and if u like it, keep using it. But if u notice damage to ur hair, stop and ask ur hairstylist about other shampoos. Or, try Garneir Fruticis Shampoos and conditioners, those wrk great 2.
i used to like the smooth and sleek kind, but i've heard it's bad too. when my mom went to get her hair cut, the stylist said it's bad for your hair because it has a lot of ';cream'; (i don't know what it's called exactly), so it weighs down your hair. I like neutrogena or dove shampoo/conditioner much better.
I use it but noting was wrong with it.
I used to (still do), but then I switched to Dove.

Was your hairstylist trying to push a different product on you???
i get really good results from pantene.. i don't see how it's bad every one likes pantene..:)
I have used it and still do, makes my thin, straight hair very shiny. It's not the best shampoo in the world but certainly not the worst.

Stylists will tell you it's bad due to the almighty dollar. Since Pantene is so popular, they will say anything to get you to give it up and buy a salon product. How else would they boost their sales?

As for someone who said it ';fried'; her blonde hair, it was most likely her hair coloring that did that. There is no such thing as a shampoo frying someone's hair. She either colored it too much with a cheap product or washed it every day and fried it with blow dryers and irons!

Having said that I would rather pay $4 for shampoo as opposed to $30!
Pantene is good. Hairstylists just want you to buy more expensive products.
it works
I've never heard that it was bad for hair but I don't really like the shampoo. Not that it's 'bad' but I feel it's pretty average. I've found that most shampoos have the exact same results on my hair so the brand isn't that important, it's the conditioner that I pay more attention to. I use Nature's Gate Herbal shampoo because I'm obsessed with the smell but I've always used Pantene conditioner. I NEED conditioner or else I cannot get a comb through my hair after a shower and Pantene has made it the easiest so far. I've been using the brand forever but the past few years I've been getting the 'smooth and sleek' conditioner and it's great.
me
its not the best i have used
